This is a follow up review. After 6 years of being here I’m sad to say the review goes from 5 star to 1 star. When it was Basepoint it was a wonderful place to be, a great community of businesses with a wonderful management team and while that hasn’t changed 1 very important thing has... it is now a site owned by IWG/ Regus and that has made a huge difference. I would no longer recommend this to a small business or start up. They will not support you, they will take all your money and kick you to the curb when you struggle. Do not bring your business here find an independent site if you can. While the management team do what they can there is in truth very little the can actually do now. If you need anything you have to call the helpdesk. A faceless call centre who’s job seems to be to make you so mad you give up.

Our company had been a tenant of Basepoint in High Wycombe since 2013. The idea of a serviced office appealed to us as it gave flexibility for a new business, without having to be tied to a long-term lease and you could leave with a 2 -week notice, if circumstances changed. This was the basis on which we thought we had been tenants up until the point we tried to give notice this year. But now it turns out that our company is being held ransom to a fraudulent "electronic contract", which I never agreed to in any way, which I had only seen for the 1st time a month ago, when we tried to give notice. The document I am being presented with by the "management team" in response to our wish to give notice has a "tick" and typed name in the box. A Regus contract (or INW?), terms of which were never discussed or presented to us, which are in stark difference to the terms of our previous Basepoint, which I actually did sign only 4 months prior to this "contract" for our previous unit.
When I had pointed out this fact, and presented all evidence of the fact that that there was no way I would have ever agreed to it as the simplest details in the document being shoved in my face are wrong, the person, who was supposed to have dealt with it, and who should have seen a flaw in this situation, just stated that "we have a contract" and that's that!
Now that I've seen this contract, it has come to my attention that we are:
1. Being overcharged for the rent (I didn't agree the amount we are being charged)
2. We are being charged for phonecalls that no one can privide evidence of (apparently there are no itemised telephone bills???)
3. As we were paying by direct debit and the invoices were going to an email address of a colleague that doesn't work for me anymore, no one had checked what Basepoint/Regus/INW have been charging to our account.
We are extremely dissatisfied with our situation, and wish to leave as soon as possible. Our business had suffered from the issues we've had over the past 2 years with constant outages of internet, phone service, not being able to park due to WeBuyAnyCar taking up all the spaces, constant fire alarm drills, electrical faults etc. We tried to complain about these issues to the centre manager, but this went unanswered and had not been dealt with, as the management has changed so frequently. Centre location is terrible (or it has become a nightmare, due to poor traffic management and WBAC lorries blocking the road) - it takes over 1 hour to get out of the road this centre is on (it is 0.4m long) and we can't handle this any more and wish to move from there, as we have very unhappy staff, customers and suppliers that have to suffer with us.
But the icing on the cake is that we apparently have a 2-year, fixed term, no break clause lease agreement, that I never agreed to, or signed! And having had a lot of experience with electronically signed documents, the document that's being relied on has none of the parameters of a legal document.
We have tried to make an official complaint to the centre management, to Regus call centre, but they completely ignore it and hope this will go away.
We wish to leave! We wish to have our deposit back (and it's a lot of money for 2 months rent), a refund of all overcharged rent and proof of telephone calls we had been charged for and the rate they had been charged on. But there is no one to talk to.

Local business centre with offices and workshops of various sizes for hire. Parking is difficult, with little provision for visitors, but the centre is pretty full. Hard to work out what all the businesses do/services they offer.

I've been a licencee at Basepoint HW now for nearly 3 years. I love it! My business is growing, I'm on a site with other businesses of varying types, and it has a great sense of community. The team that runs Basepoint High Wycombe are brilliant. I can't fault it.

Busy estate, clean and tidy. Lovely staff at the reception office. Traffic can be busy on the access roads as quite near to M40.
