me and boyfriend enjoyed our stay here, however the breakfast is very expensive for what it is, so be careful, i would recommend getting it your first day and if you enjoy it pay daily for it as it can be quite repetitive. The room size was perfect and the bathroom was lovely. The pool was great to swim in and the staff at the main reception were very helpful as we hadn’t been to Chester before. would definitely stay again.

Very lovely hotel. The staff were helpful, the food was lovely, and the room was clean and comfortable (with the exception of the pull out bed, whose mattress was about as thin as a duvet). The pool showers could have done with some conditioner, although this wasn't an issue for me as I'd brought my own. There was, however, some conditioner in the bedroom ensuite, so I'd recommend having a shower in your room if you have long hair and go swimming.

My stay with Crowne Plaza was okay. The staff were lovely, very helpful and the food was good. However, on my stay I got woken up at 11:30pm as someone was knocking on my door. Only to find that it was room service I’d not even ordered. When I checked out the next day, Crowne plaza charged my card for this room service I didn’t order. This part of my stay was very poor as I had got woken up and I had got charged for something I’d not ordered. Please improve on this part of your service as the order was meant for a room number, 2 floors above mine. Many thanks

The 1st thing that strikes you as you approach this modern hotel is how well the design has been blended into the fabric of the historic city and how convenient it is for the city centre. Exceptional in my opinion, but once you get used to the unusual layout of the public areas, you realise it gets better, with a lovely restaurant and bar lounge, enjoying views from picture windows towards the Welsh hills and mountains, as had our room.
And all complimented by a helpful and courteous culture amongst the staff, who provided exceptional service at all levels, which taken together delivered a great experience and excellent value.

Lovely stay for the last part of our mini-moon break.
Very friendly polite staff even upgrading our room when finding out we were newly married.
Location is brilliant right in the middle of Chester. And a 10 minute drive from the zoo.
Rooms are bob on with all required for a comfortable stay, the room we stayed in even had Sky TV in clouding sport.
The spa and gym are very clean moden and we’ll looked after including a sauna and steam room.
Breakfast in a morning included a full buffet cereals hot drinks and juice everything you need.
Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
