Pleasant location and lobby. Room was not vacuumed when we arrived and the bed sheets had stains on it. Both were rectified quickly with good service but it shouldn't have been there in the first place. Room's AC also smelt bad, like a musty odor. Not unbearable but not what you'd expect at a 4 star hotel. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Just needs to level up on maintenance and cleanliness.

The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly (particularly Patricia on reception - she gave such a personal touch and kept catching up with us throughout our stay). The food we had (lunch, dinner and then breakfast) was fantastic! One of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a hotel and constantly topped up. The room was spacious and had great facilities - everything you need for a night or two. We visited the spa, which was lovely and peaceful; very nice to have a child swimming slot in the morning and then again in the evening to make the day more peaceful for childless people.
Thank you Crowne and Chakra!

I had mistakenly booked the wrong date (by one day) and only discovered this on arriving at the hotel. Patricia (front desk) was understanding, kind, courteous throughout and moved the reservation forward. She even offered free parking for the duration of our holiday. What could have been a really stressful situation was managed so professionally and i can't thank Patricia enough.
The hotel room was located in the quiet area and was spotlessy clean and roomy. The bed was comfortable and all toiletries were provided. We will definitely use this hotel again.

Huge car park with free parking. The room was renovated & had small touches like a minibar, steam-proof magnifying mirror (perfect for makeup) delicious biscuits, good quality executive chair, windows in the bathroom for natural light! I enjoyed these great touches to the room however I was disappointed that room service was not 24 as stated on the menu. The kitchen was closed at 1am and many local delivery services were closed on a Saturday night. The night manager (Irish guy with a beard named Johnny i think?) ensured that his staff provided an excellent service which was to offer me some free snacks to ensure i did not go to bed hungry. Great hospitality. Breakfast was also awesome. I would definitely recommend and return.

Do not book! This is not a 4 star hotel. Absolutely appalling, dirty and pungent room. Three of us were sharing a family room. Check in was at 3pm, we arrived at 3:45pm and were told our room was not ready. We advised we needed to get ready asap so were given another room. When we went to the room (158) staff were still cleaning but advised they had finished and started packing up. The room stunk and we had to call reception for an airfresher. The shower had a broken piece on the side of the bathtub. There were not enough towels and no toothpaste was provided so had to call reception again. The pullout bed had no sheets and was dirty so 3 of us ended up uncomfortably sleeping on one bed which is not what we paid for! When we checked out we advised reception how horrid our stay was and all they said was 'sorry' Will never return here again!

Loved my stay here. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming, tentative and friendly.
The pool was clean with a lovely jacuzzi/sauna/steam room
Standard breakfast but nothing wrong in that.
And that chocolate when checking in was a little treat, Loved it!

Nice hotel!
On arrival we could tell they were short staffed as the room wasn't ready and they had to find one, despite the complication the lady kindly offered us a free drinks voucher and they communicated well to resolve this. The room was great, nice shower. Pool area was very cramped despite no children at the time, Jacuzzi was shut due to maintenance. Bar and kitchen staff friendly, quick service and nice food.
