The hotel itself is wonderful, great staff and wonderful location. I only stayed there for 3 nights but definitely enjoyed myself. The downstairs bar is great with a wide range of drinks available.
I only have a couple improvements to be made, make sure no hair is found in the rest room. I wish there was a toilet brush in the rooms. I was surprised to see no toothpaste being provided like is many other hotels I've been in with lower rating.
The breakfast bar is phenomenal, stays open for a while too. Very professional staff and awfully helpful and friendly.
I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area.
Clean and comfortable with really great staff. We found this hotel to be very convenient to walk to the town. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.
Renovations in the hotel caused a lot of noise in our room on the 11th floor but on asking the desk staff to kindly move us, they did so without hesitation and were extremely helpful. Very enjoyable stay. Would return again
Overall/TLDR: A serviceable hotel with fantastic breakfast, in need of an update.
Check In: Quick, efficient and a very friendly man behind the desk who made me feel super welcome.
Room: Nice but slightly dated and the desk had not been cleaned properly. Other than that pretty well appointed (nice selection of biscuits!), Sky TV and clean bed sheets and towels etc.
Communal areas: In need of a refresh in my opinion but all clean and tidy.
Breakfast: This was fantastic, great range of hot and cold buffet options. The hot food was actually hot and really well cooked; bonus points for managing to keep the fried eggs with a runny yolk despite them being sat there for a while (a rare occurrence). Friendly and efficient staff.
Bar: Really nice decor and a lovely polite girl behind the bar made me feel very welcome, but when it got busy (it was a Saturday evening) it was clear she was overwhelmed and the service was quite slow.
Sadly, we found the room small. We needed a 3rd bed for my grandson and had been told by reservations it would be a larger room.
Room was clean, comfy. Ensuite but could not turn off the shower head to run a bath so we had to place the shower head in the bath and fill it that way.
Staff very pleasant.
Breakfast was lovely with quite a good choice however, as some of us were vegetarian, we would have appreciated more veg options.
Great location and a great benefit to have ample parking.
