Arrived at 1.30pm on the day of check in and was told to come back at 3pm.
We walked around Stratford and headed back at 4pm to be told our rooms still weren't ready. No apology and staff were completely unapologetic. We watched guest after guest get checked in by other staff members whilst we were still waiting. We had 2 King rooms, not exactly rocket science. This is poor service and ruined the last day of our trip.
Do better.
Update: the only good point of this hotel was the lovely man at breakfast (Nick I think). He was so friendly and approachable.

This a good hotel for sightseeing in Stratford. It is moments away from the RSC and Henley Street where most people will go to visit when they are here. It has a lovely riverside terrace with fireplace tables! We also enjoyed the Spa every morning. I've only given it 4 stars because the room while clean did not have ANY information about the hotel such as phone numbers for service etc or whether they take laundry etc. The concierge is very helpful but nobody wants to be phoning down for info every two minutes. The room service was not on a par with what you might expect but this might be because of staff shortages. We received our food with no sauces, no cutlery or serviettes and not everything we ordered. I had to go down TWICE to get these things myself. However our stay was still very comfortable and relaxing and the location of the hotel is excellent.

We visited Stratford for my partner’s birthday and we were not disappointed. The town itself is lovely and the hotel is in a perfect location right on the water. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The concierge Luca was fabulous and Kevin at the bar made sure we were looked after! All round great time, will be seeing you again :)

This is a struggling hotel that can barely cope with guests. It is understaffed, allows you to check-in to your room at 5pm instead of 3pm (despite promising 3pm), has hot water broken (we had to get it maintained). The rooms are worn down, dirty, and dusty. We found a spider in our room. Our card stopped working. The staff were rude and overworked. At breakfast and lunch, the plates were dirty and not clean. The AC is broken down and doesn’t work. Our stay was very uncomfortable, so glad to have left this hotel. It was clearly not value for money: this is not worth more than 15£ per night. Here is a piece of advice for the hotel managers: hire more staff!

Short Stay to explore Stratford with my fiancé. Warmly welcomed by the reception staff who were upbeat and helpful.
The room was a great size and very comfortable. We ended our night in the outdoor space with a cup of tea by the fire- perfect! Breakfast was amazing and waiting staff went above and beyond to make sure we were full and happy!
Would definitely recommend family and friends to stay here and to visit the beautiful town
