Visited Gleneagles in Auchterarder with my guests yesterday. It is such a beautiful, grand luxury destination. It's pretty exclusive and if you seek something truly special, then this could be right up your street. Think Clackmannanshire, sumptuous interiors, more golf than you can shake a club at, gorgeous Spa, on point Concierge, the American Bar and luxury shopping.

Amazing hotel and rooms. Reception and concierge staff are friendly and helpful. Has one of the two two-Michelin starred restaurants in all of Scotland, but the Italian-American diner was also nice. Pool and gym are spacious and well-kept. Wide range of activities and beautiful golf courses.

The Gleneagles hotel is possibly the best British / Scottish hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay at. From the very beginning the way your are greeted by the gents at the front door, they are polite, courteous, friendly and professional all at the same time! The service is impeccable with historical and just beautiful settings. The food was great and such a wide variety in the numerous restaurants (plenty of halal options). The activities the hotels offers are vast and kept us busy for the whole stay, however I would highly recommend a visit to the spa for a bit of indulgence and me time! Great destination for singles, families and for all ages!

Four stars for the overall property professionalism. Experience started very nice and five stars, however, we were made to change rooms at the end because of a plumbing issue. They told us they were going to upgrade us. But, we removed to the secondary property to a smaller room. No compensation was made. Or acknowledgment in the difference of room sizes.

We attended The Gleneagles Hotel for Afternoon Tea and it was outstanding from start to finish. Impeccable services from: the welcome on the front door by the gentleman in a kilt; the warm welcome by the staff throughout the lobby; the lady who took our coats; and the Maître D’ who seated us. We were fortunate to have a window seat overlooking the water fountain in the ground. Our server had a personable and attentive manner. Our drinks were constantly topped up, and we tried a variety of different Teas and Coffee. The menu and the food were perfect. There was so much we had to take away some of the cakes that we couldn’t manage in one sitting. A truly special and rememberable visit. Our sincere thanks to every member of the staff.
