The hotel is a 4 star. And that is the experience you get. The staff were friendly and helpful. The evening meal was amazing.
The A/C in the room actually worked and kept it very cool.
Breakfast was your bog standard buffet and continental opens at 7am
Only let down was the coffee. The cups had been washed in something that overwhelmed the smell and taste of the coffee.
Happily stay here again.

Stopped here for 4 nights while at an offshore refresher course around the corner.
Staff are extremely pleasant, food and bar were good.
Rooms are starting to look a little tired but still usable and livable. Comfy beds all kept very clean by housekeeping.
Gym was OK but book in for times. Nice running routes nearby.

Lovely hotel, comfortable rooms, spacious, good breakfast, nice pool area. Really enjoyed our stay here. A special shout out to Eugene who worked the breakfast service - his customer service was excellent and he was just so friendly and welcoming.
Only downside was the late start to breakfast and pool opening... 8am on weekends. Would have been nice to have them open an hour earlier.

Booked in for one night, as had to be at the hospital for 7.30am the next day. Went for dinner and after being told to sit in the lounge and they'd come and get us, when a table was free, I had to go and ask a server again and the manager promptly gave us a table. Not having much of an appetite, I had the home made soup which was delicious but my partner had the rib eye, asked for medium to well but didn't enjoy it at all 😒 We hardly slept that night but unable to say exactly why, bed uncomfortable, room stuffy and then, when we went to check out, were told the room hadn't been paid for, when I specifically thought I had at the time of booking. The hotel manager then informed us that they only reserve the room, they don't take any payment, which should have been made clear when booking. Sorry but not the best stay 😔

Operation for a partial knee replacement on 31st January 2025. I was booked into the new surgical suite. From being admitted and throughout my experience every one was so respectful, caring and understanding. The team on ward 4 west are second to none. It takes a special kind of person to do the jobs they do. Hand on heart they are a credit to the hospital, nothing is a bother to them day or night. With staying in north Ayrshire I feel humbled to have had my operation done here, and in the future should my other knee need surgery it's the golden jubilee I'll be coming back to. I would like to thank Mr Gee and his whole team and not forgetting the robot this procedure will change my life for the better. All that's left to say is 💯 from start to finish. You are all simply the best.
