Well, this is the ideal location if you're going to a cricket match. Unfortunately, we were going to the cruise terminal, so it's a little further away. The hotel is part of the stadium and our balcony was equivalent to a box seat overlooking the field. The room was new and very clean. There is a shopping area not too far away, but you probably want to take a taxi there, I think it's a little far to walk. All in all a nice property with some facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The staff are brilliant all so Friendly. The drinks options are fantastic. The rooms WOW so comfy ill love to know where you get the pillows from please. Huge rooms. Fantastic facilities. Highly recommend.

Great hotel, great service, often quite busy. Polite and professional. This is a large hotel with some lovely views over the cricket pitch. Location wise, there can be heavy traffic locally, whether using the motorway or local routes around and to Southampton. Generally clean and tidy.

We've stayed here a few times now and really like it. The service is usually exceptional there, friendly and efficient. On our last stay we had a few issues - we were told something was free when it was chargeable; we had incorrect charges applied that they then had to refund. They have got rid of the executive lounge and the smaller bar now. We will use again though! Absolutely recommend the tomahawk experience.

An overnight stay for NYE, we had a voucher to use so upgraded to a suite and the room was huge, with a separate living space. My one grumble, although this applies to a lot of hotels, the room was so dark that getting ready was really difficult. I don't really want to do make up etc in the bathroom after having a shower as the room is hot, but the rest of the room was too dark to see. Bed was very comfy, the view of the cricket ground was incredible, and the breakfast was also brilliant with so much choice.
