I hate giving
Poor reviews but this place deserves one. The disdain for the guest seems to seep down from management. Don’t stay here if you want to sleep cool or have a mini fridge in your suite that was promised. Or feel in any way that you were charged fairly. And heaven forbid if you have any problems or simple requests. No refrigerator in. 700 pound per night suite? No windows and no way to cool the place? And managements response? It’s just the way we do things here.
I too am a Diamond member and despite the convenient location, would advise everyone to stay somewhere else. Unfortunately I’m still here for another 2 days.
And if you look, they only seem to respond to the positive reviews. Nothing that will help those who complain about things in their reviews that would legitimately show any effort to help them.

Location is excellent, bang opposite to the Paddington Tube station. Housekeeping Service is good however need improvement in teens of consistency. Felt the staff during breakfast was a bit rude since the took my room number to charge for breakfast without confirming there was breakfast available since I was a bit late. I ended up having just bread butter with a coffee which is absolutely not with the amount paid towards breakfast.

The reception offered to upgrade us for an extra 120 pounds for 2 nights. He said free breakfasts and lounge access he says open from 6 pm to 8pm. When I was checking out, I got charged for almost 100 pounds for 2 breakfasts. I questioned this to be told, that because we had breakfasts at the restaurants. Turned out the breakfast was in the lounge, not in the restaurant ( we were not informed , as in other hotels and resorts I stayed, breakfasts are served in the restaurant in the morning). There is lack of communication. Very misleading indeed. The receptionist did not point that out to us ,where the breakfast will be. I was really disappointed. The fridge in the room was not even working, and the toiletries were so tiny and limited like 10 ml for a bottle of hand wash. I feel like this hotel is just interested to get your money. For the price it is not worth coming here. I don't recommend this hotel. You can get a better deal somewhere with same price. Very disappointed.

The hotel is a bit tired and would deserve thorough refab. However friendly and professional staff makes whatever is possible to meet customer expectations and improve overall stay experience.
Initially my review was rather negative but attention and customer focus of the hotel staff and management rescued reputation of the Hilton brand I have been loyal for years…
On positive note, rooms have high ceilings and the location it truly awesome.

Do not expect same standard of a Hilton hotel, as you would find it in the USA. This hotel is very old and pretty outdated. However, it is clean. When we got to our room (late December), the room was freezing cold and the air condition was blowing nonstop. We were not able to change the temperature or at least turn off the air condition. We told the receptionist and she said they could control it remotely and they would fix it. We went to bed and they never fixed anything, and we were freezing all night long. I literally had to wear a sweater and a scarf. Worst experience in a hotel for me ever! When I complained this morning, I was told to go back to the room and pack up my stuff and somebody will come and get me and take me to a new room. They said they would be there in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later, nobody showed up I had to go back downstairs to complain again. At that time she gave me keys for a new room, no help offered and I had to drag my luggage all over the hotel, because I couldn’t find the room and couldn’t find any staff that spoke English to help me. Just overall pretty frustrating. Breakfast in the executive lounge, as well as the restaurant was very basic. Staff not overly friendly. Location is great since it is right next to Paddington station.
