I always enjoy my stays here and the hotel is in a great location. The waterfront is a few minutes walk away and has a good selection of bars and restaurants and it's also good for an early morning run.
The atrium in the hotel is one of my favourite - so bright and a lovely view. Service was, as always, great - very friendly and welcoming. Our room had a great view, was a good size and was quiet and clean. There was a lack of plug points but no other issues.
Breakfast was the usual Hilton buffet and had a good choice of food as well as nicely spaced tables with the view across the river. There is a good sized car park that is free for Hilton Honours Diamond members.

Absolutely Amazing experience. The suite We stayed was Amazing and immaculate. I couldn't fault not one thing about the room.. the staff or the Hotel. The staff were really helpful and Friendly. The room service breakfast was presented really nicely and absolutely loved it. We didn't want to leave. Definitely worth the money and will most certainly be staying again!!

[July 2022] Stayed here to attend a graduation ceremony. Room was a queen deluxe.
Pros: Luke at reception is friendly and helpful and is a credit to Hilton.
Great views of the river and bridges.
Room had TV with good selection of free channels.
Clean comfy bed.
Good location.
Great breakfast.
Cons: What was a great view spoilt by dirty window.
Bathroom clean, but in need of renovation- smashed and poorly repaired tile and dirty grout.
No opening window.
No power point near bed - nobody wants to charge a phone on the other side of the room!
Expensive car parking.

Good hotel but some parts look a little dated as it’s over 15 years old (especially the GF toilets). Otherwise, I’m a fan of this hotel- has a nice terrace which gives you beautiful views of Tyne Bridge and Newcastle. We have also used their function rooms for a number of weddings and corporate events which were very well received.
Although this hotel doesn’t stand up to Hilton’s/Conrad’s in other world cities it’s still a good options to Newcastle.

Nice hotel with good location but……
The rooms I have stayed in are feeling dated. Always clean though.
Check in whenever I have been is only ever manned by one person. This has been at peek times so can take a while.
If you haven’t ordered breakfast you get it cheaper if you order at check in rather than at breakfast. I wasn’t told this though.
The room service app let me go through the ordering process but then crashed out. Had to order over the phone and when it turned up the bill was more than the app said it would be. This was corrected at check out though.
Parking is covered. Just drove past the hotel and you’ll see it. £14.99 a night. Ridiculous.
