I stay at this hotel regularly for work and it’s the definition of mid. The staff are friendly, location is amazing in a great area but off the busy high street itself.
The rooms are a bit of a lottery, they are decent but some can smell a bit. Most are extremely small, the gap between the bed and wardrobe being like hands width. Furniture you can tell is a bit tired. Noise entirely depends on the room and can be a massive issue. As the rooms are so narrow, hearing your neighbours is common.
Most importantly though, one of the worst temperature controls I’ve ever seen. Doesn’t seem responsive to anything, buttons are confusing and it implies you have control when you really don’t. It’s more just an on/off.
TV is extremely dated, not allowing casting to apps from your phone! But worst of all there’s not even a Tv guide so you can’t see what’s on

Great hotel! The room looked small at first but it’s clean and cosy and got everything you need from towel to tissues. The staff is polite and professional. We didn’t managed to use the spa but only because we didn’t book it in time. The swimming pool is nice. we loved the breakfast, so many choice and variety. We really really liked it, totally recommend! 5⭐️

Easy enough to get to, close to bus route and underground from central London. Nice hotel - rooms just right for couple. Beds comfy. Breakfast selection very good - lovely food does not taste cheap like some I've been to. Would definitely but it on my option list when next in London.

The hotel is in a great location, just off Kensington High St and is also very close to a Tube station. It has a large and comfortable public/bar area. The staff are friendly and courteous. The breakfast was plentiful but not much fruit available.
A let down was my room, which although having a king sized bed was very cramped, as was the shower/toilet. It was also very cold with a noisy heating system that never managed to warm it up.
I had a bar meal on one occasion. It took almost an hour to arrive and was of mediocre quality. They have also adopted the insidious American custom of adding a service charge to your bill (12.5%) without consultation, even when you pay in advance, as I was asked to do. I would not have given a tip in this case if given the choice. On reflection I should have refused to pay it.

Hotel was typical of a Holiday Inn property - nothing fancy but generally comfortable. Karol at the front desk kindly assisted us with both checking in and out and left a good impression on us.
Rooms were clean and housekeeping good, but the soundproofing in the room was awful - you could hear people running down the corridor past midnight and constant stomping from people in rooms above. Lifts were incredibly slow to arrive and could barely fit more than 4 people, we waited 5-10 minutes for a lift on one occasion.
Location is excellent as its just a 2 minute walk from plenty of dining options along High St Kensington and the tube station.
