I have been renting a dedicated desk for about six months now. The common area of this location is nicer than other locations I have visited. The office space itself is fine, nothing real special. With a dedicated desk, the desks they have are very low to the ground so I had to buy risers to lift it off the floor by an extra 3 inches to make it a reasonable height to sit at. They did swap out the terrible chair they have at the dedicated desks and also swapped out the filing cabinet for one with a key, so that was good. The real issue is the inability to get any real issues resolved. I was supposed to get a phone number included with my lease. I inquired with the community manager after I moved in. She told me it was included and she "put in a ticket" to get it set up. I had to keep checking back every few days as she doesn't bother to follow up on anything. After a couple months of this, I was told that I would have to pay for a number, so I just got my own business line instead that I can keep after I move out. Similarly, the wifi is pretty unreliable. I hear other tenants complaining at the front desk as well, so it isn't an issue for just me. I was supposed to be able to get wired internet which I had hoped would be better. I put in a request with the community manager not long after I moved in. I was told it would be quick but I checked the status with the community manager every week for a long time, and six months later I still have no wired internet. I eventually got my own internet. Checking the status of this issue only lead to the same response of "I put in a ticket...". The lease is also supposed to include access to the fitness center. My keycard has never worked to get me into the fitness center. Again, I have inquired numerous times. Initially I was told that I needed to hold my keycard to the key card reader at the fitness center for longer. I tried that, which did not work, and then watched someone else get in with a quick swipe of their keycard. It has been six months and still no access to the fitness center even though I have inquired many, many times. I thought that the price was good since it was supposed to include the desk, internet, business phone, and fitness center access. But I have had to pay an extra $50/mo for my own reliable internet, I had to pay an extra $25/mo for my own business phone line, and I have never been able to use the fitness center. Another thing I have noticed is that the community manager will dissappear for long stretches of time (sometimes up to and maybe over an hour) throughout the day and there will be no one at the reception desk. People will start piling up in the lobby not knowing what to do and will ask people (like me) in the kitchen/common area what to do. The building maintenance person, who I talk to all the time, actually came to my office the other day to see if I had any idea where the community manager was because there were so many people in the lobby trying to check in to get to see whoever they were there to see. Sometimes people will start wandering around the office looking for whoever it is they are there to visit, but there aren't any signs on the doors so it does them no good. I understand that there are other things she needs to do, but I can't believe how long she will just leave the lobby unattended. It is very unprofessional and a real disservice to tenants who have clients coming into the office.
