Was looking for a flexible and friendly place to work for a while after returning to Chicago from out of state. Was hoping for a great, open workspace environment.
The company I work for doesn't have offices in Chicago, so it would also have been great to find a place I can recommend to other local employees.
This is not it.
If you're a start up and renting offices, this location might be great. But as a solo coworker, the options here aren't so great. It's professional and the community manager seems great. But there's no open coworking space... you can pick one-off spaces, many of which feel really cramped and tight.
All that's fine, but after realizing this is not the right fit, I then learned that I need to give a full month's notice to cancel.
No exceptions, no grace period. Just pay up - whether you will use the space or not, whether it's a good fit for you or not. If you find after a day or two, like me, that this location is not a great fit for you, you're still on the hook for two full months.
Technically this is 100% on me for not reading the fine print. I get that. Live and learn.
So just wanting to share for anyone else looking for a spot to work from for a bit: (1) do the free day so you see what the real deal is here, and (2) read the fine print.

I recently had the pleasure of using the River North Suite A location for a meeting, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience! From the very first phone call, Tesa, who was absolutely wonderful, went above and beyond to ensure our meeting was a success.
She provided a detailed explanation of the space, patiently answering all my (many!) questions. Her recommendations for catering and nearby hotels were spot on, making our travel and event planning so much easier, especially since my team and I were flying in. Tesa even helped arrange an early tour for those of us arriving ahead of schedule, which was a huge help.
Her communication throughout the process was excellent, and she remained patient and accommodating, even with our last-minute requests. On top of that, she helped coordinate the catering, something she didn't have to do, and suggested shipping any extra supplies directly to the location. She even handled the logistics for that!
Thanks to Tesa's dedication and exceptional service, our meeting ran smoothly from start to finish. I can't imagine it being as seamless without her help. We will definitely be returning!

Moved to the neighborhood, booked a free week and a tour, walked in an hour before my tour because I had a meeting to take, and they actively discouraged me from buying. Front desk person was very bothered that she had to work 15 minutes after getting to work, told me my free week doesn't just start after I sign up, I asked when it would start because I need a place to work permanently, she then asked my budget for some reason, suggested WeWork for day passes (I wanted monthly). I don't know why she couldn't give me a date for when my membership could start. Ended up buying WeWork's all access per her excellent suggestion.

Our team hosted a work retreat at Industrious, and it was a dream location. We rented a conference room and also were able to use the shared spaces to mix up our work space when we needed a break from the many many post-its we had all around the room. Hilary was such a great host ensuring we had everything we needed--every one of my teammates commented how nice she was, and we would definitely return. There were free snacks and soda, coffee throughout the day, and we also got to enjoy happy hour on Thursday. The location is also great for easy walkable lunches (we both went out and brought food back) which makes a full workday there 100% doable. Will definitely be back!
