We rented an office here and I cannot begin to tell you the disappointment I have from this place. This place was sold to us as an ‘incubator’ type environment where startups were encouraged to have some office space and work with others etc etc the typical incubator type thing. We had a tiny office for 3 people, it was well communicated we would like a bigger office (3 in a cat Box wasn’t fun). An office became available and given to an established business of a friend of the manager at the time, yep real incubator! We got quite annoyed, told them to shove their Innovation Centre, moved out and refused to pay them the rent owing. We were happy there until this point. Not to mention, the now manager (who tells startup conferences “if you’re a woman in a startup, you’re up against it”) has NO IDEA how to run a business let alone an incubator!!!! Why this guy is in charge is a mystery, my guess is he knows someone. Do yourself a favor, find other office space and have nothing to do with the advisors, all they are there for is to stroke each other’s egos and fantasise about being successful! On top of all of it, when you work it out financially, you’re actually better off to rent an office the normal way, so your getting overcharged for the use of poor facilities! Good work Innovation Centre..........not! Surprise surprise he is one of the 5 star reviewers! Lol
