I will award this hotel a 5-star rating for the fact that it provided what a 4-star rated hotel would … a consistent breakfast spread, a very comfortable bed, clean rooms and bathroom, ample amenities and a fridge that is replenished everyday. The location is the most prominent advantage of this hotel. However, the inconsistently courteous staff deserve only 3 stars. The morning front desk guys are always cheerful and happy. The afternoon and night shift staff, on the other hand, need a reasonable amount of re-training on hospitality … from the night front desk lady who never smiles and the doorman who refuses to open the door for us Asians. Observably, he would open the door for others but when he sees us approaching, he would just look away or walk away from the door. (Do I sense a hint of racism here? Shrug) I don’t see why since among the 5 of us who stayed here, we booked more than 100 nights. Let not this ‘small’ deficiency smear the goodness of this hotel. I would come back to this hotel. What’s not to love about the convenience, cleanliness and location?

The staffs are very helpful. And the breakfast style has been upgraded, which is very nice. I got some problems when trying to go up stairs with my luggages at the entrance of the hotel, but the staff helped me immediately and is very kind. Overall it's highly recommended.

I’ve stayed in this hotel for the past few years The location is very convenient Right outside the Paddington station The staff wasn’t that great before but they have hired new receptionists and security staff and they are very friendly. Specially claudiu from the security in the front door. He was very nice he helped load our luggages into the uber as well.

Hi - if you are looking for easy accommodation near Paddington this is perfect. Other reviews commented on the small size of the rooms, and they are very small, but I had room to open my suitcase and lots of hangers to hang things up. The bed was very comfortable, sheets were crisp and clean and the towels were excellent - large and fluffy. But hands down the staff were the best amenity. Very friendly and helpful. Lovely smiles at the end of a long journey. Check in and check out process was fast and easy.

Hotel was nice and central. Located next to underground, very close to train station and buses. Plenty of places to go eat or explore nearby. Staff were nice and also hold the door open for you during the day. Check in was easy enough. Good views from the window. We had a small room but it was very nice and done us fine. Everything was fully stocked from toiletries to mini fridge. We had some issues while staying such as unable to get room service as there was only one person on reception? Then again another day when we asked for ice because the ice machine was turned off? The hair dryer in the room didn’t work and we asked for a new one up, was told someone would come up now and have a look. They took a while, checked it and then left to get us a plug in hair dryer. Happy they fixed the problem, not happy we weren’t listened to in the first place when we asked for a new one. It delayed us significantly for the gig we had booked the time away for in the first place. Key card stopped working the second day. Safe had been working fine until morning, combination reset wasn’t working and the one we had out in wouldn’t open it. We had to wait until 8am or 9am before Maintenence could come and get it open for us. Overall, there were some issues but the stay itself was nice and pleasant. Staff were kind. I would come back and stay.
