Very disappointed with my booking.
We got one key between 4 people and when we asked for another they did not seem to have one nor care about our query.
We asked what time the security gates are closed and no one seemed to know the answer.
The aircon does not work;
The toaster does not work, the lights do not work, the door handle fell off, the fridge does not work.
There are no extra blankets, and with the aircon not working, it is freezing cold.
The service at the front desk seem completely indifferent by our queries and concerns.
Would not recommend...

These apartments are definitely value for money. The location is great with a really amazing Spar in the building to buy food.
Kitchens are well equipped but don't have salt or pepper, which you will need to buy.
On the whole, a nice big open space that is well located.

Before arriving I made 2 calls and spoke to 2 different people informing them that we will be driving down from Jhb and will only be arriving late in the evening. (+-14 Hour drive)
To ensure no delays I asked for my sister to check in for us (who lives in Cpt 30min away from location) at 14h00. both people assured me that would not be a problem and she can collect the keys etc. I gave my personal number for them to contact me. In the event of the other person busy driving. 13H30 half an hour before my sisters arrival they only then sent us the information of a lock box on site and no need for a collection. They had my contact details and did not let me know. My sister drove all the way to the site to check in only for them to tell her there is a lock box and we can retrieve our keys there. She then asked them if they are sure as we are driving from far. Staff confirmed key is in the lock box and looked at her like she was crazy for asking. Fast forward 15 hours drive later we get to the location open the lock box with no keys inside. After calling the number provided on the board located next to the lock box no answer. We then sent a whatsapp saying there is no key. We then received a call back where the manager said she is trying to get a hold of security and that they are not answering to give us a spare key. We had to walk around the buidling looking for security so we can call the manager and put them both on the phone with each other. After a few minutes wait the security gave us a key. But no lift card and no exit parking card. Security helped us retrieve our luggage to take to the room. As we have no lift card and will be using the stairs (4floors) to get to the room. As we could not leave to get dinner we had to uber food and walk up and down 4 floors double layered stairs to just get food after our long drive. All my effort for calling and getting someone to come to check in was for nothing.
The next morning the manager says she is making a copy of the security's spare key for us. I asked her where the original key was nobody could give me an answer. Now feeling unsafe to sleep there with all our belongings. who ever has the original key could just open our room. Eventually the manager let us know that they found the original key. They had a geust 7 days ago. That extended his stay. So was moved from his room to our room. And when he left he put our room key in his original rooms lock box because that was the only code he knew. So for 7 days nobody went to go check where the keys were, or even after i called twice and sent someone to retrieve the keys for us, you would think the staff would make sure the keys were where they said it would be. But instead relied on clients to do their jobs efficiently. When we received the keys and the lift card only but no parking card. Nobody explained to us that we have seperate cards for the parking and the lift also did not explain that we should not insert the parking card only scan. We inserted the lift card not knowing it was only for the lift and when i called the manager she tells me i should not have inserted the card i said nobody informed me of this and there is no sign that says do not insert it actually says insert card. She then goes to explain that and I quote " I should actually be charging you for another card"
Once we were in the room the toilet had a bad sewerage smell the shower drain was clogged and water was overflowong everywhere. We had to put our hands down the dirty drain to pull out some sort of plug for the water to drain so the whole bedroom does not overflow in water. The tv remote was not working we had to download an app on our phones to just watch tv. The light switches were so confusing to figure out what light switch is for what and most of the time not working.
And that was not even half of it.
The staff is either untrained or honestly just dont care for their jobs. I would not recommend going here. Good luck to future clients.

The location of this place is ideal, close to the CBD, quiet and clean. Not forgetting about Nikiway 🫂 the lady who checked us in. Mann, she’s a gem. She always made sure we were comfortable and my parents were equally pleased by her hospitality. I would most certainly recommend this place to my friends and I shall visit again soon. My trip to Cape Town was complete here. My heart is warm❤️

BITTER SWEET - 1st Night as husband and wife spent at Cape Quarter Neighbourgood. Aircon does not work and made a complaint to the manager.
