the people who work and hang out there are super super nice and intelligent. It has excellent wifi. i like the community vibe a lot. it felt safe. free coffee and cookies. it has a hostel like feel. a little expensive for private office but good choice if your hotel wifi is not sufficient or you like to socialize. my only complaint is it is not that clean. but I admit, I like things very clean like a clean freak. sometimes the bathroom had a bad odor from the pipes which I am not sure can be controlled, the furniture is well-used and loved, the trash from inside the offices is not cleared, some of the door glass is cracked, old paper signs posted and I don't think they vacuum or wipe down surfaces often. they allow a dog inside. It is a cool environment and the people very cool. I still highly recommend it.

Would give 6/5 stars if possible. I have been more than 7 month in Playa del Carmen and also traveled from there to different countries like Belize and Guatemala - but always came back to PDC and The Nest. For me, the Nest was more than a coworking space - and I have been to a few. It was not the good internet, the always helping hand of the staff or any of the "hard facts" of the place (I am sure you will read about that in the other reviews). What made me come back to work here again and again were the Nests most valueable asset: Its people. The staff is able to create a happy, light vibe, where productivity has its place through relaxation. Especially Celeste and Monica are excellent at spreading this vibe and energy without it being artificial or intrusive. But not only the staff, especially the clients and customers that the Nest attracts speak for itself: kindhearted, nice and genuinely trustworthy people! I left money, my computer and my phone there in plain sight, for hours, just to find it untouched hours later. Once I even forgot my wallet full of 200 USD worth of cash in the garden at pitch dark - it was immediately retrieved by a friendly NEST member. This is just one example of many, many situations where I encountered acts of kindness. It seems here the world is like it should be. I found friends, business partners and customers here alike and I am grateful this place exists. I cannot resist mentioning the most valuable members of Nest's clients - the dogs

Has everything you need to work. 24/7 and personal lockers for the monthly membership. Can't figure out how to turn on AC though at night.
