Review of Nobu Hotel Portman Square – A Luxurious and Thoughtful Stay My girlfriend and I spent four nights at Nobu Hotel Portman Square, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—turn-down service was thoughtful, and the concierge was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the special Valentine’s Day touch: wine bottles, sweet chocolates, and cake waiting for us in the room, making the experience feel even more personal and luxurious. The room itself was sleek and modern, with high-end amenities including a well-stocked minibar with drinks and snacks, premium beauty products, and fantastic water pressure in both the shower and sink. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spacious, providing a perfect retreat after exploring the city. Room service was good overall—though some meals arrived slightly cold, which is fairly typical for in-room dining. The only minor downside was encountering a lingering cigarette smell one night, which was unexpected in such an upscale setting. Despite that, the overall experience was excellent. If you’re looking for a stylish, well-serviced hotel with great attention to detail, Nobu Hotel Portman Square is a fantastic choice. Would definitely return!

Let me start by saying I believe everything about a business reflects its leadership, and unfortunately, that showed during our stay at this hotel. When we visited the bar, I was surprised to find that a standard shot was only 0.25 ml and a double was 0.50 ml. When I asked about it, I was told, “Oh, you’re from America—we don’t pour like your country.” That response felt dismissive, but I let it go and decided to purchase my own bottle to make drinks in my room the way I prefer. The next day, after a day out sightseeing, I returned to find my bottle of alcohol—left on my nightstand—was gone. I immediately called the front desk. They said they’d investigate, but after more than an hour with no response, I went down personally. Their response? “None of our staff would take your alcohol,” implying I was either mistaken or lying. I pressed for a real answer, and eventually, they claimed it was “found in the trash.” That story doesn’t add up, and frankly, the way it was handled was unacceptable. There was no apology, no offer to replace what was taken—just a defensive attitude and a refusal to take responsibility. Bottom line: this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. If you choose to stay here, keep a close eye on your belongings—especially anything of value. I certainly won’t be returning.
