If you’re in Kigali and looking for a coworking space that’s beautiful, thoughtful, and built for serious founders, Norrsken Kigali House is it. I had researched it for weeks before arriving in Rwanda, and it did not disappoint. From the architecture to the amenities, from the people to the vibe; this place is built for builders. What I Loved: The design is a smart reuse of an old school (École Belge), combining history and modern elements. Natural ventilation, open spaces, greenery, and a blend of timber and steel structures make it feel fresh and inspiring. The community is serious yet warm startups, tech founders, creatives, and investors all working in one space. There are private offices, hot desks, call booths, meeting rooms, outdoor seating, fast Wi-Fi, and unlimited coffee and tea. You’ll get work done here. Shoutout: Big thank you to Abraham, who welcomed me and gave me a full tour. He made the space feel even more inviting and answered every question I had. Restaurant & Food: Inside the compound, there's a restaurant too; great meals, coffee, fresh juices, smoothies, wraps, rice bowls, burgers, and even traditional meals like chapati and curry. Prices are fair (around 5,000–15,000 RWF), and the staff are kind and attentive. There are other cafes and food options nearby too if you want variety. This venue, co-working/workshop lab and coffee shop is exquisite all around. The community vibes, programming and atmosphere are very welcoming. I attended a Global Citizen: MOVE AFRIKA event here while visiting Kigali and the overall design of the space provided an unmatched aesthetic. And the KIVU coffee shop has a delicious menu of drinks.

Modern expansive co-working facility with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to work. Tabitha was very cordial. There are several levels and a rooftop area. They have day prices and monthly prices, which seem to cater to tourists or business people.
