Me and my partner booked the hotel to celebrate our anniversary. We booked a suite with a terrace to enjoy the sunshine and have a few drinks while we were getting ready to use the rooftop bar. When we turned up to the hotel, we were told that the room was not ready. The staff held their hands up completely and took complete responsibility for allowing the existing booking to have a late check out. This made us feel slightly upset that someone else was enjoying the terrace/room we booked 2 weeks in advance. They offered us a suite on the 35th floor with amazing views while they were getting our room ready, and gave us a complementary bottle of Prosecco. Although annoyed we didn’t get to use the terrace in the sunshine, the room they put us in was lovely and I thought the handling of the situation by the hotel staff was very professional and very helpful. The only thing we were unhappy about was our terrace room wasn’t ready until the sun went down and having to be out the hotel the following day at noon meant we only got to enjoy a few hours of daylight on the terrace. We specifically booked the hotel on this day as we knew it would be sunny however the following morning was raining. All in all, it was a very nice hotel with friendly staff but overall disappointing that we didn’t get to enjoy the best room in the hotel on a special day which we paid a lot of money for.

Booked this hotel after being away from London for a while and it was an amazing experience, the staff, the facilities, the room was spotless, the breakfast was great. As someone who loves spicy food, I was blown away at breakfast when I saw “Chilli Oil” as an option… all of it was just a 10/10. I definitely can’t wait to come back. Such a lovely hotel. I highly highly highly recommend.

We couldn’t have asked for a better room. We arrived very early just to drop our bags off and to our delight our room was available. We couldn’t have faulted the room, and the view from the 30th floor was stunning with a view of the Shard and the London skyline. Breakfast however was a different matter. We had to queue for a long time on the stairs for a table and we thought we had timed it best to avoid any rush. The food was mediocre at best, and not very warm. It also took staff a long time to replenish items that had run out resulting in many guests to have to ask staff for what they needed. If you wanted a cup of tea, the hot water was in jugs, which were all empty with a station that was too small to house the tea, condiments and water. Surely a hot water dispenser would be the way forward. Breakfast needs a rethink… maybe a booking system. Maybe use of the bar area too on 38, but in its current state, it’s cramped and doesn’t work. I’ve had far better breakfasts at other national chain hotels. The staff were amazing! At check in and the bar, the service was perfect.

Stayed here for an early Valentine’s celebration and was greeted by a very friendly and polite gentleman (sadly I can’t remember his name!) he recommended us a room with a good view and made the whole check in process very smooth. The room was very smart and did have a lovely view, the room was clean although a few small stains on the carpet which I guess can’t be helped. Had a good selection of teas and 2 water bottles in the fridge. Overall would stay here again and enjoyed exploring the location.

Had a lovely time in the restaurant, Victor not only brought us our room service but waited our table when we came for dinner too!! He was so accommodating, very kind we absolutely loved him to bits 10/10 service. This morning for breakfast we had Antonella and Aline serving us both such lovely ladies, never failed to make us laugh and ensured we were happy. Very pleased with the staff here, made the stay even better!
