Excellent service by the hotel staff! Especially Kelly has been extremely helpful during our check in, and Ioannis gave us useful advice regarding several things regarding our stay. The rooms (at least the one we stayed) need considerable renovation otherwise the prices have to come down considerably. The excellent location seems to partly compensate (for now).

Fantastic stay at Novotel, we had been before when watching Britain's Got Talent at the Eventim Apollo just opposite. When visiting London this time for our twin daughters birthday, it made sense to stay here again.
Parking is easy. Rooms are comfortable, we even got an upgrade to an 'Executive room' which was very modern, and a nice early check in time of 2pm.
Service was fantastic, breakfast was very well organised, and plenty of choice.
Special mention to Sandra, who looked after us every morning, making sure we had everything we needed, keeping us topped up with fresh coffee, and taking the time to ask our daughters if they were enjoying London, and asking what they had been up to. A lovely lady who made our stay that bit more special. Thank you.
We will definitely recommend, and return.

Certainly! Here's a polished and naturally flowing hotel review based on your notes:
Hotel Review: Novotel West London
I recently visited Novotel West London while attending a Writer’s Summit organized by The London Book Fair team, and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The location is ideal—not too central, which means it’s quieter and a little less hectic than the heart of London, yet still very accessible.
One unexpected perk was the on-site parking. In London, that’s a rarity. Yes, it’s on the pricey side at £35 for 10 hours, but when you compare it to a peak-time train ticket (often £60+), it actually feels like a decent deal, especially for the convenience.
Now, let’s talk about the hotel itself. The reception staff were warm and welcoming, which set a positive tone right from the start. The conference room where the summit was held was spacious, well-lit, and equipped with all the necessary facilities for a professional event. It felt thoughtfully designed and comfortable for a full day of sessions.
All in all, Novotel West London exceeded my expectations. It’s a solid choice for business events, and I'd consider staying here for leisure.

I've noticed a concerning trend at this hotel: a clear move towards maximizing profit at the expense of guest experience.
The Mirrors bar, which once offered table service and complimentary snacks with wine orders, now charges a mandatory 12.5% service fee even when you have to queue and order directly at the bar – essentially “self-service”.
This change is particularly frustrating as it eliminates the value proposition of the bar experience. While I appreciate the staff's efforts, this policy change, driven by management, feels like a disservice to loyal customers and diminishes the overall appeal of the hotel.

Have stayed here a few times and had a good experience. Rooms are spacious and clean. They're soundproof with big windows to let air and light in when needed too. Beds are comfortable.
The hotel is a 5 min walk away from Hammersmith Station so very easy access to transport and shops for whatever is needed. They do sell snacks etc opposite reception but they're very pricey so I'd suggest going to the newsagents down the road.
The shower in the executive room lacked water pressure and there was a strange smell in the bathroom also but as it was only a couple of nights it wasn't too bad.
Staff are very friendly and have always responded to any requests quickly.
