While I understand that Lordship Lane has become completely gentrified, there’s really no reason to charge £2.70 for tea. Not even fancy herbs with a steeper, a literal teabag and some hot water that ended up being tasteless. Then to top it off they only offer 1 hour WiFi service every 24 hours. Do not recommend.

Disappointed. NO LAPTOPS ALLOWED. Ordered and sat down, and was told after that I couldn't use my laptop since it was a Friday, despite there being two individuals in the centre of the cafe using their laptops.
I came all the way from Brixton since I'd been here a couple of weeks ago and I thought it would have been the right environment to get a coffee while listening to a recorded lecture and taking notes. I guess not.
My suggestion would be to sign-post the laptop-free days a bit better and put it up on the website.
My coffee had already come when I was told, so I decided to be polite and wait for the food since they might have already started preparing. Food was nice, but on the smaller side for the price. So a tad expensive.
It is a space that lends itself to working on a laptop, studying or reading.
I wouldn't go there just for the food or coffee, as there are far better places for both nearby.

Nice place, but shame that only AFTER I ordered and started to enjoy the cake they got to mention they're closing in a few minutes...

Oru is a haven of beautiful interiors, lovely staff, excellent food and wonderful wellness classes. Not to mention the best coffee in East Dulwich (maybe the best in London). The rooftop space is awesome, and the new studios downstairs are calming, clean spaces with great lighting. I spend half my life here and wish I spent more. It's a vibe.

Really amazing venue - I had no idea they had such cool work spaces and a rooftop! They also put on an amazing Oru Fest with drinks, food, live music. Definitely up for the next one :)

There are 2 types of cool people in London. There’s:
- smiley kind cool
- sulky moody cool
Oru seems to manage to employ only the former. And it turns out that smiley kind cool people make a bangin masala baked beans on toast. And paratha wrap. Actually and lentil dahl. It’s all good stuff tbh you should try it some time.

I recently became a member of the coworking and here’s why I LOVE this place. The food and drink is excellent - i especially love the masala beans, the bbq tempeh sandwich and the homemade chai - but also the coffee is best in ED for me. The workspace itself is exactly what I need, it’s flexible and there are bunch of different spaces for quiet work, calls, lounge etc. What I maybe love most is the yoga/Pilates classes and being able to squeeze movement into a busy day. Also feels friendly - the staff are great and they do little things to bring people together without it feeling too much.
