During our stay on 8/24/23, we checked in but checked out just 10 minutes later. The room had an unbearable odor, and the bathroom was even worse, reeking as if someone had just used it before we arrived. The hotel had a sketchy vibe from the moment we checked in, with a broken entrance door held together by duct tape. The place seemed completely deserted except for the staff. On reporting the issues to the front desk, the staff offered to change our room and suggested we speak to the manager. When the manager finally showed up, he showed no interest in addressing our concerns. His response was a dismissive "ok! Good then?" without any apology or effort to make things right. This experience was deeply disappointing, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. If possible, I would rate it 0/5 stars.

A very nice hotel and restaurant, made exceptional by the kindness of its owner and staff. I stayed only for a night, still I received help and attention normally reserved for relatives or close friends. I will definitely stay again!

Rooms are "very modest" and not very tidy. Our bathroom had a strong smell of mold. Also, the fridge was noisy, so we had to turn it off in order to get some sleep. The restaurant looks nice and the food was good. The breakfast was badly organised and therefore a big mess. To sum up: We are a bit disappointed and quite confused.

The whole bathroom floor got covered in water when you took a shower so you couldnt go into the bathroom half the day without getting wet. The buffet is expensive and didn’t have enough food so most of it was empty after a half hour. The owner or manager at the reception was rude and defensive, he said “this is how it is” when I said I wasn’t happy. The rest of the staff was nice and helpful.

When we arrived front door was smashed and held together with duct tape. Check in staff was not pleasant and appeared VERY unhappy. Location is imbedded in a university dorm area. Hotel itself resembles a dorm. Upon entering our room there were 2 strong disgusting odors one of which smell like a wet dirty dog and the other was emanating from the bathroom which smelled as if someone had a bowel movement on the floor. It was nauseating. We immediately left and went to the unpleasant person attending check in that this is unacceptable and frankly disgusting. He told us well the building is old so the pipes back up then immediately called his manager. Manager and another individual arrived. When we described the odors the manager looks at the other individual who shrugs her shoulders and says nothing. Managers response was "ok, then?". We told them that this is not acceptable and left. Then through the 3rd party agency that we used the hotel cancelled our booking stating we never showed and we are subject to a no show fee. I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel to anyone unless they want to breathe in disgusting odors and deal with rude staff. I wish I read the Google reviews instead of the 3rd party website because the reviews about odors, quality of services etc on Google are much more accurate.
