In my opinion there are only two reasons to use Regus: 1. Your employer gave you no other option. 2. You didn't know of any better. Its been about a year since I have packed up my things at Regus and decided to put a desk in my garage with no windows and work from there instead, I wish I have done it earlier. Today is the first time I could successfully claim the rest of my deposit, as the Regus Mobile app conveniently had a bug when requesting deposit. btw - the bug is still there, but this time round I chose the international payment method to get reimbursed. As any other place, Regus requires a deposit for damages to the office. However I only worked in an office space for 1month, which was already badly damaged when I got there. I didn't have the privilege to work in a painted / repaired office .. and I paid for all the repairs. And I am guessing, the previous n tenants did too. You will be charged for things like using cutlery, and I feel terrible for the staff who plays policeman for this. I worked in a closed office, however, embarrassed I had to ask the receptionists a couple of times to quiet down, I could hear the people on my video call, with my NC head phones on. You're really better off taking the money and setting up a office at home if your company allows that. Or go to any other place. I've been to 12 different shared office space franchises around the world and in Western Cape, and this is the worst.
