Offices never cleaned, wifi/mobile doesn't work. Do yourself a favor and give that mountain of money that they charge for the "services" to someone else.

This Spaces location is esthetically stunning. There's plenty of space and hot desks and booths for Spaces members to work in. However, unfortunately, the place is incredibly insecure and not a safe environment to work in. Spaces have chosen to maximise their profitability by not investing in visible security guards. What you have is a reception area that has a blindspot whereby the reception staff do not have visibility of people entering the building. This oversight in design led to a thief entering the building unchallenged, allowing him to attempt to steal something from the handbag of someone who was making a phone call inside the building by the door. This same thief was then able to enter the area where I'd left my laptop while going to the toilet and walk out of the building with it. The official policy of Spaces is that even if they provide an insecure environment that enables thieves easy access that they are not responsible for the theft of any items. By all means work out of this location, but I suggest that you chain your laptop to your ankle and take it with you to the toilet in order to prevent it being stolen. Or bring a container with you and go to the toilet where you happen to be sitting. Also make sure that you have a good and up to date backup of your data before working there. Just in case. The loss of a laptop can seriously damage a freelancer. Be careful!
