I don't like to leave bad reviews but the value here was so poor that I feel that I need to warn others looking for a space to work for the day. The pricing was deceptive.
The daily rate advertised (£35) was fairly high (and I'm used to London prices) but it seemed to tick all my boxes so I was happy to pay. The total cost was actually £42, which I found out when they charged me and sent an invoice with VAT added.
This price did not include tea/coffee, which was sold at an additional cost. There was a cafe in reception where you could purchase tea/coffee but it closed around noon.
I did get access to a 'semi-private/shared' office with my booking but it was a windowless room upstairs. I preferred to work in the open reception space.
The wifi was not great. My colleagues kept complaining about the quality of my connection as I tried to get through my meetings that day.
The reception staff were helpful and the main lobby/reception area had loads of natural light and places to sit. That was lovely. But overall, I feel the day pass was really poor value for money and will look for another option when I'm back in Glasgow.
Edit, to respond to the response: My account is under the exact same name as listed here. You've spelled in wrong in your response so perhaps you misspelled when searching your system.

*Avoid if you need a secure wifi connection* The space is gorgeous and the front of house staff are fantastic. There is an accessible entrance and accessible toilet as well as a cafe. However, the wifi is completely insecure. As a government contractor who must work on a secure network, I ended up having to cancel my membership, (which had a notice period.) Conversations with front of house and customer services made it clear to me that no one really understands the internet facilities they provide. When I raised the issue of the insecure network with on site and remote staff, they were either surprised or confused at what I was talking about. No one I spoke to knew anything about their internet provision or could tell me if any other sites in the city had a secure network (I was told I could visit each one to find out and there is no option for members who need secure connections.) It didn't occur to me a place with such an expensive fee would not provide a secure connection so hands up- I didn't investigate it before I took out the contract. In any case, speaking to staff about it would not have helped so I suggest visiting a site to check the network yourself before locking anything down with Spaces. If you can spring for additional costs of mifi or mobile data, you can tether and get a more secure connection than Spaces provides. But then what's the point of the membership? FWIW, Glasgow public libraries also provide gorgeous accessible spaces with insecure wifi, but they don't charge hundreds of pounds for the pleasure.

My colleague and I dropped into this location to work for the majority of the day. The facilities were excellent and the attention of Katie and her team made all the difference.
Coffee station was superb and lunch was delicious. A great location made exceptional by a brilliant team. Thank you for looking after us today. Gal & Richard, Traveleads
