Excellent studio space for a very reasonable price located right in the heart of Downtown Toronto. I am a university student currently in hybrid mode (with some virtual lectures and in person lectures/ labs) and finding a place to study at school have been harder than ever, especially opening hours have been cut short. However, at the coworking space, it is 24/7 hours access which helped me tremendously in securing a spot to study.
The amenities here are beyond satisfactory: complimentary tea, fast wifi, meeting rooms, printers (I get about 100 pages a month), phone booths and even wireless charging spots for phones! Additionally, the community managers here are extremely responsive and helpful in any inquiries that I may have.
Overall, my experience with Staples studio have been wonderful and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a professional working place!

Our team is distributed across Ontario and we use the Staples Studio to work together around every month or so. The location is central for all of us, near Union and subway lines. Love the huge windows, the high ceilings, the modern atmosphere. Well-equipped kitchen and GREAT coffee. We make use of hot desks which are super flexible.
We've been very pleasantly surprised by just how convenient it is to be right next to a Staples. Need to print business cards? Walk 30 seconds to the counter. Need a new laptop or supplies for a workshop? They'll sell you those about 30 seconds away. Best part is that there's a 10% discount on everything when you're a studio member.
Most importantly, I want to highlight Preshit, the studio's wonderful community manager. He is always there to help, offer advice or a nice chat, and just generally making everyone's day better. He's on top of things, with a kitchen that's always perfectly clean, quick responses to emails and with flexibility to make sure everything goes smoothly all the time.

This is the very best place to work that you could possibly find in Toronto! 24/7 access, always clean, efficient, friendly and professional host, modern facilities! The tea and coffee station with amazingly fresh coffee and a wide selection of premium tea will make your day (and/or night!). Professional equipment for teleconferences gives a level-up in business communications. Lockers for storage are convenient and accessible. Whatever you need from accessoires you can get from the Staples shop which is next door.

If you’re looking for a co-working space that has everything you need to work on your business or project - literally anything - and in the hearth of downtown Toronto, Staples University Studio is your place. I have been a member for almost two months now, and I have enjoyed my stay. I come here to get my creative juice going. Bright, high ceiling, well-spaced spaces and peaceful, the working environment is pleasant. You can also have unlimited free coffee and tea to get your caffeinated; there are decaff options if you like. It sure is different from other co-working spaces that I have tried, and I think that this is one of the best. There are two meeting rooms that can be combined for a bigger group. There are three phone booths that you can use to take your phone calls or Zoom meetings; that will keep your conversations private. I used to travel for work and worked in hotels sometimes for two weeks straight, and I wished I had something like Staples to work in. This studio is ideal for small businesses, startups, freelancers and consultants who need a space without wanting to invest in an office, much cheaper than a $1,500 office space. I have a monthly membership and get an upgrade to get a dedicated desk and a locker to store my things and not carry them around. It also comes with six hours of meeting room rentals. Muriel, the community manager, is there to help you with your needs, from finding stuff in the attached Staples store to booking/changing rooms. Your membership comes with other perks, including corporate-rate gym memberships, discount on car rentals, discount at Staples and more. Take advantage of those benefits! Do I recommend this place? Yes yes yes!

Disclaimer: My experience occurs during weekends, you might have better experience during weekdays.
So I was looking for a working space to do some self study during the weekends and I thought the staples studio might be a good choice. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
First and foremost, cleanliness: This is the main thing that put me off. Staples mentioned on their website that they have amentities like 24hrs coffee and tea. However their coffee counter definitely haven't clean for a while and the garbage bin was overflowing. Additionaly there're no wipe in the wipe can.
Second, there are no real instruction such as the wifi password, tutorial on how to connect printer and others. Later I learn that, the coworking space is meant to be open during Monday to Friday only. If that the case, I would recommend management for this coworking space to provide better training to the staff in store so they could properly warn customer on the potential drawback on getting a day pass at weekends.
Verdict: As I mentioned earlier, this is only a review on the experience at weekends. You might have better experience during weekdays and so. But if you are like me, someone who is trying to find a place to study during the weekend. I would suggest getting a table at a local cafe or a library. You will save $25
