Nicely located hotel next to Hyde Park at the beginning of Oxford Street. We stayed in an upgraded king-size room with a very comfortable bed. The room was spacious and bright but, unfortunately, quite worn. The shower fittings were worn, and the rubber seals were already worn; the glass door to the bathroom was dirty. The breakfast was sumptuous, but the reception and the arrangement were more like a mass check-in. They sent the lifts in a more targeted way after entering the destination floor, but this didn't work, and in the end, we decided to use the stairs. I wanted to spend an evening in the sports bar, but after waiting over 40 minutes and not being served, we left - it was far from fully booked. So, unfortunately, there are no reviews of the pizza or the brownies, which I would have been looking forward to. The staff were more interested in the sports broadcasts and internal conversations. The live music, on the other hand, was excellent! The conference room was nice but somewhat hidden in the basement. Unfortunately, almost no/far too few sockets for several portable devices and persons. We had a fire alarm at 3am, and everyone had to leave the hotel. There was no compensation for this in any way. Overall, the stay was more than just mixed and definitely not worth the price.

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. They were short staffed it seemed. Tables weren't cleared for an hour around us. Otherwise music good, food good, staff good, toilets good, ambience good, mood good, attitude good. Would go again but please get more staff and pay them well, you will be thriving like no other around you. Thank you. I can revisit and give 5 stars if tables are cleared around us. Hospitality staff are overworked and underpaid. You guys could change that. Pay them a lot and don't burden them. You will have the most amazing business. Thank you though.

The Cumberland Hotel is an absolutely fantastic place to stay, and we were thoroughly impressed with our experience. The evening reception by James was top-notch – friendly, welcoming, and highly professional. A particularly cool and unique touch was that the staff wore their favorite band alongside their name badge, which created a relaxed and personal atmosphere. It was a great conversation starter and made the whole experience feel even more special. The rooms were modern, spotless, and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. Overall, a wonderful hotel – we will definitely be back and highly recommend it!

An Unforgettable Stay – 5/5 Stars! I had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Cumberland Hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly and professional team who made me feel welcome right away. The staff were incredibly helpful, always attentive, and genuinely passionate about providing exceptional service. The food was outstanding—every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The atmosphere of the hotel was warm and inviting, and the cleanliness and attention to detail were impressive. It was clear that the team takes great pride in their work. I highly recommend The Cumberland Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be coming back!

We arrived to a very pleasant and warm reception from Catherine who made us feel eight at home after a full day of travel. We didn’t know much about the hotel when we booked it, but Catherine gave us the full run down on the amenities, restaurants, and activities to enjoy within the facility. Out of the 4 hotels we stayed in our trip, this by far was the most welcoming and I cannot state enough how much Catherine’s hospitality made our last night in London a magnificent one! Cheers.
