A beautiful restoration, looks great. The main hall is fabulous, especially the stained glass window. The cafe serves good food and good coffee, the room where you eat is very smart but lacking in character, it does have great views of the river.

Just found a delightful new cafe that has just opened in York Guildhall! A hidden gem of a place the food is brilliant! Great service from Claire, Julie and not forgetting Alex the chef well done everyone.

Came across this by accident and what a beautiful building. Had afternoon tea in the cafe and can honestly say it was one of the best. Delicious sandwiches and great home baking.
