The living room is a very lovely space, very bright room (which was good for photos) as it’s directly on the side road. It was very homely, you know, we had the place for ourselves moved around as we wanted with no hindrance. The fee was affordable as well as it was a weekday event- i wish I paid for more time as my people were very late🤨 The kitchen looked stuff- microwave and stuff though I didn’t use any of those. The loo had sufficient tissues. My issue with the place was it was really noisy and we could hardly hear each other (I didn’t realise it was on a busy commercial road) and it was very hot so doors had to be left opened (and I didn’t appreciate this as people kept looking in, someone even came to stop our event to ask questions about giving a free table). I also think for really hot times like this more cool fans should be invested in so that all areas of the room both upstairs and down was covered. The loo also didn’t have an air fresher even the main rooms- just to give a nice scent The windows could not be opened as well. Lastly it is very weird that no provision for emptying bins are available, I mean am I expected to carry dirt all the way back to East London on a public transport? It will be nice if the owners know places around and recommend To people as I don’t live in the area at all. We had to make the best of the day in the hot weather (I don’t blame the venue owners though)

We booked the Living Room for my best friends baby shower. The venue was perfect for our needs and James was very helpful and easy to deal with. We were able to decorate the space, warm up food using the oven and use the fridge to keep our drinks cold. It was a beautiful day so we had the double doors wide open. It really felt like we were chilling at a friend's house, but had the buzz of the street around us!

Hired the living room place for my sister's hen do. It was perfect for us - we arranged pottery painting which was set up on the ground floor, using the tables and chairs. We were then able to decorate the downstairs for games, drinks and nibbles for later on. It was ideal as a lot of the attendees had small babies, so other halves were able to hang around / pop in and out with the babies, but not get in the way! Worked perfectly for what we wanted. Booking was easy and all the instructions very clear. Would definitely book again in future for another event.

I recently rented the Living Room for a thanksgiving dinner and it was perfect!! Spacious, warm, conveniently located and stocked with all the equipment I needed - this is exactly the sort of location I’ve been looking for to host dinner parties. The only downside was having to leave in somewhat of a rush at 11pm when people were still chatting and eating, but if you were to book the place earlier and for longer this wouldn’t be an issue. Would absolutely recommend it and will be back!

What you see is what you get, literally! Lovely clean venue! I hosted a bridal shower and it was the perfect setup. James had the best customer service and really did accommodated me. I would definitely hire this venue again in the future ! Thank you once again James.
