Did you know Birmingham is one of the greenest cities in the country? Considering green space has been proven to boost our mood and productivity, which then has an obvious positive knock-on effect at work, we think this is a pretty great reason to consider one of our Brummie venues next time you’re planning on working-near-home. So here are some of our favourite Birmingham workspaces for you to say ‘alright bab’ to.

For creatives: The Melting Pot, Digbeth - from £10pp

Located in one of the city's trendiest suburbs, this diverse space is ideal for creatives as well as professionals thanks to its variety of office and workshop space. It’s also super close to Grand Central, Birmingham’s main train station, and Digbeth bus station which makes it a great choice for public transport commuters too. Plus, as an added bonus the office is currently home to two friendly cats, Salt and Sugar.

For professionals: Landmark, Brindley Place and Snow Hill - from £25pp and £30pp

Technically two spaces, Landmark offices have a reputation for high-quality work spaces and these are no different. Their Brindley Place location is at the heart of another trendy Birmingham suburb easily walkable along the canal (plus, there are plenty of bars right outside if you fancy an after-work tipple). Their Snow Hill location has great train travel links too, so another ideal one for those commuting on public transport. Both of these spaces are huge, so you’re less likely to be disappointed if you’re looking for a last minute desk.

For a community feel: Moseley Exchange, Moseley - from £20pp

Moseley has seen a bit of a community revival in recent years, and this workspace really reflects that. Over the past year, they collaborated with local groups and councillors to create ‘Moseley Together’, a response group coordinating pandemic support in the area - so you know that when you work here, it’s not simply an office space.

For drivers: VWorks, Solihull - from £25pp

Located outside of the city centre in an easily accessible location, VWorks in Solihull is perfect for anyone commuting via car thanks to its parking facilities. Not only that, but it’s also a great open space with plenty of shared and private desks, so you can choose what works best for you.

For flyers: UBCUK Birmingham Business Park, Solihull - from £25pp
Now that air travel is becoming more of an everyday possibility, UBCUK Birmingham Business Park will surely be the natural choice for anyone who needs to fly for work, located just 3 miles from the airport. It also has great links to the M42/M6, so could even act as a great stop off point for anyone travelling cross-country (plus there are parking facilities on-site).
