If you need a comfortable, enjoyable place to get some serious work done, Africaworks on Bree Street is the place. The decor of the place has a contemporary African vibe, comfortable breakout spaces and theres plenty of proper desks and office chairs, laptop stands, fast internet and everything else you might need. The team are incredible, helpful and welcoming. There's also a balcony you can eat lunch on and catch some rays. There's also a kitchen here and a breakfast menu, if you want to skip breakfast at home. I pay 2900 rand per month for hot desk and 24/7 access. Loads of parking nearby and also plenty of lunch choices.

What an awesome workspace and venue. Friendly staff always making me feel welcomed with huge smiles and endless coffee, beautiful views and amazing people. Had the opportunity to attend the latest Market Theory Corporate First Thursday networking experience hosted by Africaworks and hands down what a successful evening.

I spent four weeks as a digital normad in Cape Town and was looking for a reliable place to work from during my stay. After some online research I decided to book at Africa Works and must say that my expectations were exceeded in all categories. The staff was very welcoming and cared about my well-being from the first second. Individual inquiries were fulfilled in no time, e.g. extra monitors, overnight lockers, or adjusting the room temperature. The place is spread across two levels of the building with both of them equipped with a self catering kitchen incl. complementary coffee and tea. The balcony invites you for a sunny lunch break (don’t forget sunglasses!). Reasonably priced parking is available on the lower levels of the building and the office is accessible 24/7 which both makes the place very convenient for working across different time zones. Africa Works is easy to reach by car and the neighbourhood offers all kinds of food. It is safe to walk during the day, I didn’t check at night. Moreover, the building has backup power and hence is not affected by loadshedding at all. Offices are spotlessly clean and tidy and the bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day. If a view matters to you (and the place has stunning views to all directions) I recommend to mention this upfront since some of the offices are centrally located with no outside windows. 100% recommend the place!

I just want to say that I'm so grateful to have found AfricaWorks. It's been a rough year for my business, and I was looking for a place to bring it back from the brink. I didn't know where to start, but then I started searching for coworking spaces in the area—and boy, am I glad I found this one! The space is absolutely gorgeous. The view alone is worth paying for, but then you have all these amazing amenities like delicious coffee, an incredible kitchen (with a dishwasher!), and even a massive chill area if you need it! But what really makes this place stand out is the staff. They're so friendly and helpful Abdul always goes beyond —they made me feel right at home from day one. And they're not just there to help us with our businesses; they really take care of us as people too. They've offered me advice on how to set up my home office more efficiently and how to manage my time more effectively while working from home. If you're looking for a place where you can get work done quickly and efficiently while still feeling like you're part of a community where everyone has your back—this is it!
