Not a very well maintained hotel. Checked in and the room was incredibly warm. The engineer came by, thank goodness, and it was a simple clean of the filter. What a difference!! Says a lot about management. At best, this hotel is only worthy of 3 stars. The standard rooms are old and outdated. They have refurbished rooms, but they are a different price category. Responses from hotel will say this, but you have to pay for it!!

This is a very nice Hilton. One of the nicest I've stayed in for a while, in fact. The reception area has a lovely modern design with marble everywhere, a grand modern chandelier and is immaculate. For the most part, staff are super friendly and very helpful. The only exception was an experience at the bar. I was standing at the bar waiting patiently for the bar person to finish a task he was working on (no issue, it wasn't busy and I'm happy to wait). The bar person looked up and acknowledged that I was there. Shortly after, another gentleman arrived at the bar and the bar person immediately served the other customer. Needless to say that I was pretty irritated. The room was very spacious, clean, tidy, and very comfortable. My only minor problem was the hight of the ceiling in the bathroom. When showering I had to crouch down to avoid my head bashing off the ceiling. Clearly this wasn't the most comfortable experience at 6am!

We had a great stay here. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. They even called us back hours after saying they couldn't make one of our requests work to let us know they found a solution. That was really great customer service in my view. Handy to trains and buses, but just a bit far beyond the city center. However, the positive is a quiet stay.
