Absolutely excellent venue for cricket. Had a great day at The Hundred. It was a hot day with constant reminders to rehydrate but with limited taps to replenish water bottles without huge queues. We resorted to buying water at the bar 3 pounds for 330 mil cans. Robbery. Surely they should have foreseen this and ordered in bottles or at least sell water at realistic price

Well, this is the ideal location if you're going to a cricket match. Unfortunately, we were going to the cruise terminal, so it's a little further away. The hotel is part of the stadium and our balcony was equivalent to a box seat overlooking the field. The room was new and very clean. There is a shopping area not too far away, but you probably want to take a taxi there, I think it's a little far to walk. All in all a nice property with some facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

From the moment we arrived to when we left was faultless. lovely room with super view, comfy bed, amazing power shower. The spa was awesome. Food & service at Beefy's great. Breakfast was super. Very relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff who made us feel welcome. Overall a wonderful experience for my daughters birthday.

My family and I had booked 3 rooms and a spa day for my sisters graduation. We arrived before we could access our rooms. We checked in signed forms and were informed we had 2 rooms together and another further away that we could come back at any time to get. We went to the graduation and celebrations after to get a very rude call at 11.45pm at night to be told that they had given our rooms to others!! We went to the hotel as our luggage and car was there and they said they’d find us another hotel in the area to stay in. We spent £80 on cabs to holiday inn express to be told they hadn’t contacted them at all and they also had no rooms! So we had no choice to go back to this hotel and sleep in their reception until we were able to drive home 5am this morning. The staff couldn’t be anymore unhelpful. My sister is type 1 diabetic and Dave (refused to tell us his surname) said ‘what has that got to do with it’ he also continued to be particularly rude, even the security staff working there couldn’t believe how we had been treated. Not only have we lost a lot of money, one of the biggest days in my sisters life ruined because of lack of organisation and total incompetence of this hotel and the staff. The lack of sleep has serious impacts on this life threatening condition. Such ignorance shown.

Great hotel, I regularly stay there. It was better when they had the exec lounge and diamond member access to spa. Both of those have gone unfortunately. A lot of staff have changed since COVID. The hotel itself is still wonderful. Pitch view is lovely. The restaurant and bar, including staff are all really nice too.

It’s a 5 star Hilton hotel, most of them are quite good. This one does not disappoint.
The rooms are very big, clean and relatively modern.
The breakfast is veeeery complete. A bit more than your typical continental breakfasts.
The restaurant for dinner is very good and good price. If I had to say something is the lack of vegan plates as a standard, but I am sure they would manage something for you if you asked.

Overall a pleasant stay all the staff were lovely, our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived at 3pm check in but they have complimentary drinks to say sorry. Heading up to the room it was lovely and spacious, 2 toilets a bath and shower and lovely view of the pitch. They were a few minor issues but dealt with quickly and appropriately. In my opinion attention to detail is lacking there's rust on the shower curtain rail, holes in the duvet covers and stains on the carpet but would definitely return. Forgot to add the breakfast was amazing!

An overnight stay for NYE, we had a voucher to use so upgraded to a suite and the room was huge, with a separate living space. My one grumble, although this applies to a lot of hotels, the room was so dark that getting ready was really difficult. I don't really want to do make up etc in the bathroom after having a shower as the room is hot, but the rest of the room was too dark to see.
Bed was very comfy, the view of the cricket ground was incredible, and the breakfast was also brilliant with so much choice.

Stayed here for one night before joining a cruise. We had a balcony room overlooking the cricket ground which was fantastic, the only downside being that there was no match being played 🙄 but tbf probably would have been more difficult to book this room had there been a match on! 😁 We were only there for one night but I can't fault the service we got from friendly staff. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is well situated and makes a good base for days out.
