The original ‘The Commons’ location. This place means so much to me and our business. It’s where we ‘grew up’, having amazing (and incredibly valuable) chats in the upstairs kitchen with some of Australia’s best start-ups, and playing ping-pong with the country’s smartest freelancers. It’s where we met our first team member, who helped us take our company international, and where we met friends who have become like family. The Commons is nothing like WeWork or the others; they have heart, they care, and they are uniquely Australian. Do not go anywhere else.

Was part of the 7 Wineries wine tasting event at The Commons, Gipps Street to introduce ourselves to the Commons of the North. Staff we engaging and fostered a great atmosphere, and the warehouse space is huge. The event was free and offered as part of our membership fee. Very welcoming.

A truly great place to work. I’ve had a desk here for 4 years now and have worked in a few other shared spaces before. I can confidently say that these guys have nailed the formula for shared work spaces. Friendly and helpful staff along with a supportive community and loads of events to bring people together both socially and for work opportunities make this space stand out from the rest.

I love going to work at The Commons. A really supportive environment and super friendly community team. I've been to other co-working spaces like WeWork and it just does not have the same friendly vibe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a truly cool and authentic North of the Yarra environment.
