Came for a spa day with my mum as a mothers day treat.
I have nothing but praise for our experience. We were well informed ahead of our visit of our treatment times and rules etc... on arrival we were greeted by the friendly health club team who explained that the pool was used by children untill 10:30 which was fine. I've seen lots of reviews about the pool but I honestly think they manage it so well considering it's used for both spa and hotel residents.
We sat in the spa lounge to fill out our forms (this could possibly be sent out digitally prior to the visit to save time) and select our lunch choice. We handed them back in and was given our robes and towels, our treatments were at 10:30 so we got changed and sat in the spa lounge and had complimentary coffees whilst waiting. Rita was my therapist and I have nothing but the upmost praise for her, she was absolutely fantastic! She described my skin type in depth to me and recommended elemis products to suit my skin type. My treatment with her was so relaxing and my I would 100% come back just to book in with her again.
The spa itself is small but it was really quiet in the time we were there so was lovely. It has a pool, spa, steam room and loungers. It's only downfall is not having a jacuzzi.
Lunch was superb, really tasty and well presented and again the staff were lovely and service fantastic.
The staff really make this place!
We would love to revisit again and will recommend to friends.
Thankyou for a great day and well needed relaxation.

This was my first solo hotel/spa and it was fab! Everyone was helpful, friendly and made my stay a great one. One person I would like to mention is Ellie who was my waitress. She put me at ease, was so chatty and friendly. She read each table well and engaged in a professional and personable manner. Thank you Ellie!
The food was lovely and the room was great too! I had a massage and exfoliating treatment which was every bit as relaxing as I expected it to be.
I would definitely come back again!!

Come for a spa day and evening with a friend was hugely disappointed. The room was filthy and pubic hair in the bed, dusty and extremely unkept and dirty. Ordered chips for a snack too a hour to come was cold. The swimming pool had black bits floating in it everywhere and full of screaming kids (not the relaxation was hoping for) the sauna smelt of urine, no jacuzzi, we had treatments booked they was awful, no relaxing rough was unprofessional and moaned about having to work to myself and my friends was talking about her personal life throughout we ended up leaving cant fault the reception staff and bar staff all very polite and helpful. Ben the manager dealt with our complaint well and kindly WILL NOT be returning

Lovely little hotel, easy to find, very welcoming staff. The spa is small with limited facilities. There no jacuzzi, but there is a lovely pool and a steam room and sauna. The treatment I had was nice - but rushed I felt as was eager to get me out to prepare the room. Wasn't given a separate towel to dry off after body exfoliation which wasn't great. The lunch that was served was nice and the staff were helpful.
A nice day out with the family as it was a treat.

Room modern and spacious, impressed with the shower facilities, a smaller shower head and a huge shower head provided a choice. Dust at sides of the floor along the wall in the bathroom, towels and lovely toiletries provided.
Kept waiting when wanting to pay for our evening meal as we were the last people to leave the dining area, no one was anywhere to be seen to enable us to pay,; until someone appeared holding someone's room order and directed a bewildered member of staff to take payment.
Both of us had a massage in the spa, but we both thought that £99 for a massage was very excessive. The evening meal was delicious and so was the breakfast, with a wide range of food choices, hot, cereals, pastries, fruit and more, self service.
