The hotel was okay but not great. We have titanium status but the club lounge was closed. We called about this and they offered us some perks like a restaurant credit and use of the minibar. When we checked in they told they could not give us what they promised. After going back and forth they agreed to give us a restaurant credit for each day. At check out they didn’t provide us with the credits they promised. More back and forth. It was pretty annoying.
The room was pretty dated and small. No upgrade even though we have status.
The lobby was nice and the hotel is right at the train station and Underground, which was convenient.
We ate at the Booking Room twice a day. Almost every time the food came out cold. The wait staff were extremely helpful and fixed things but we came to expect the food to be cold, which wasn’t good.
I was disappointed with the nonsense around the perks that were promised.

I didn’t stay at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, but I did stop by for a drink at the hotel lobby lounge—and wow, what a place! The atmosphere is sophisticated and elegant, making it the perfect spot to relax with a cocktail.
I was lucky enough to get a personal tour, and the hotel’s history and architecture are absolutely breathtaking. Originally opened in 1873 as the Midland Grand Hotel, this Gothic Revival masterpiece was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, one of Britain’s most celebrated architects. After closing in the 1930s, it was carefully restored and reopened as the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in 2011, bringing its Victorian grandeur back to life.
Of course, one of the highlights was seeing the iconic Grand Staircase, famously featured in the Spice Girls’ “Wannabe” music video. Standing there, you can’t help but admire the intricate ironwork, soaring arches, and opulent red-and-gold detailing—it’s like stepping into a royal palace.
To top it all off, I even bumped into a few celebrities while I was there, which just goes to show how exclusive and high-end this place is. With its rich history, architectural beauty, and luxurious setting, it’s definitely one of London’s most iconic hotels.
Maybe one day, I’ll actually book a stay and experience it fully. But even if you’re not staying overnight, it’s worth stopping by for a drink or afternoon tea to soak in the ambiance. Highly recommended!

Impeccable service from start to finish. Laura spent time with us on arrival to ensure we had everything we needed. We requested early check in for the rooms we reserved (and a late checkout for one room; note I do have Titanium Elite status) and were accommodated without hesitation. Also, the breakfast in the Booking Office restaurant was excellent. Alex and Pasha were attentive and friendly, and made us feel most welcome throughout our stay!

We had the pleasure of staying in the iconic St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London, specifically in the Staircase Suite—and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of architecture and history; stepping inside feels like being transported back in time, yet with every modern luxury seamlessly woven in.
The design details throughout are breathtaking, from the grand staircases to the ornate ceilings—truly a destination in itself. Guest services were top-notch; you can tell the staff take genuine pride in their work, offering warm, attentive, and professional hospitality from start to finish.
If you're looking for a stay that combines elegance, comfort, and a sense of historic grandeur, this hotel delivers an unforgettable experience.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past, booked again for September 2025 and a couple months later happened to see that the hotel had changed brands. I contacted the hotel to ensure that the services and amenities that I booked were still available. After a few days I received a response that they no longer had a lounge and other services were no longer available. I asked why I was not contacted about the change and received the same pre written email that I received from my initial inquiry, very disappointed to see this property being let go and by the recent reviews I am glad that I canceled my reservation and moved to another property. I would expect more from a property that is ran by Marriott a international and not a franchisee.
