Without kombucha and cold brew on tap this place is pointless. There isn’t enough working space to have some limited privacy. Nothing ever shields you from some woman who’s spending her workdays scrolling on her phone, looking at your computer and chatting with some random people she knows here - just coming and sitting right next to you. Or a dining table nearby suddenly being taken by a group of loud chatty coworkers who all seem to be celebrating something while you’re sitting right here trying to drag through a bunch of documents. There is no no talking policy pretty much anywhere, so if you’re trying to get done something that requires heightened focus - prepare for tons of frustration. Beware of the cancellation policy. Today is August 1st and I contacted support saying I no longer want to come here, after trying it out for a week. The person I spoke to said he can only cancel at the end of August, and left the chat. Well luckily I haven’t payed for August yet so jokes on you, but I am still speechless.

This location (1701 Rhode Island Ave) is a fantastic office. Tons of space, plenty of floors, natural light & great interior decor, good coffee, and external monitors, (among many other nice amenities). The staff are extremely friendly and attentive as well.

The 1701 Rhode Island location is the best WeWork in the DC area. Many floors, lots of natural light, is seldom busy, and the staff are—to a person—welcoming & kind. The rooftop, if open, is also an excellent space for receptions and meetings.
