🚨BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES! 🚨 I enjoyed my time there...location was great and space was quiet/clean, and front desk managers are friendly BUT they have a high priced "restoration" fee no one tells you about on page 4 of an attachment to their contract . For a 10x10 room (that I only use a couple of days a week, have no pictures hanging, etc.) they charged me 500 upon move out. I asked why and they told me they do that with all businesses per page 4 of an attachment to their contract. So make sure you read every page of the contract attachments (not just the contract) when you sign up. Cool place but an annoying surprise at the end when I had to pay them 500 to vacuum a 10x10 room ...

Spaces on Water has so much potential but is horribly run/managed my Regus. One of the main reasons people rent coworking space is for wifi. Spaces went without wifi for 2-3 months. Their only solution/suggestion was for occupants to work out of other Regus locations. They also intentionally try to get additional funds out of occupants. For example, they auto opted everyone in to a “monthly coffee fund” and automatically began charging everyone’s accounts. Their payment system auto removed everyone’s auto payment information. Then, they told everyone “if you don’t go into the system and add it back, we will not credit your account or any late fees”. It’s just ridiculous. Excellent location, horrible horrible HORRIBLE management.

I have been renting here since July of last year on a month to month term, I used to rent from Regus in 3rd ward and didn't have any issues, the space here is clean and the front desk team are fantastic and very accommodating. My issue is with Jarred who I have known for 4 years now (so we definitely go back) says He "hooked" me up with a 30% discount and told me the reason he was able to do this was because I rented from their other property before, I got an email that my rent was going to be raised an astronomical amount because my discount (which was a covid relief discount) that I didn't know about because he failed to mention that at all had expired. I went to the front desk and addressed the issue and they said they were working on getting me a better price so not to worry about the first email. Low and behold my card was charged with no authorization, no formal letter for me to sign and agree my new terms of payment, no nothing. What they fail to realize is under WI state law this is illegal and this post is just the first step of action I am taking. I hate to bash on a place with a kind staff but the sales team and Spaceworks have another thing coming. I am not the only one who is having this issue with them. More to come...
