NearU expands into Mexico, Argentina, Taiwan & more

We've had a busy start to the year here at NearU (I mean, what else did you expect).

Last year, our Host team were able to take us global, with one of our most notable achievements being our expansion into North America where we currently list over 70 spaces. But we want to make sure that you have a place to work everywhere, which is why we're proud to announce partnerships in 16 new countries as February comes to a close.

We feel exhausted even writing a list that big, so many congratulations to the Host team for successfully onboarding such a broad range of spaces. And since it's such a special occasion, we thought we'd give a couple of shoutouts to some of our favourite flexible workspaces in these new locations.

This space is nothing short of spectacular. It's unsurprising that you'd find it in Córdoba, a city famed for its stunning surroundings of the Sierra Chicas, since they seem to have been inspired by Argentina's natural beauty when crafting this office. Enter their coworking area via the open-plan ground floor, which spills out onto an outdoor terrace with views of their pretty courtyard.

Seeds of nature are sown throughout the workspace, which blends modern white interiors with wooden panels and pops of greenery. Choose between coworking space, private meeting rooms and a comfy lounge area while you work, and then stay to socialise after you clock out. This is one of few sites that allows alcohol on-premises, so why not grab a beer and then head to the games room with a buddy?

Keeping with the South American theme we have Distrito 17, a coworking space in the Antioquia suburb of Medellin. While the city has been plagued by a perturbed history, nowadays it has seen a new lease of life, coming to be known as a hub for technological and artistic innovation. And Distrito 17 is definitely representative of that.

This unique space began as a family project where the owners' passion for motorcycles, urban architecture and nomadism could be combined. As a result, Distrito 17 has an uber cool industrial vibe with work space set over several floors of coworking lounges, meeting rooms and private offices to truly provide something for everyone.

Travel with us all the way to Europe where you'll find our flagship space in Slovenia, MP Coworking. While there are certainly more listings to come in this country, we think you can't go far wrong with MP, situated in trendy Ljubljana. Their space is super clean and bright, making good use of white walls and natural light to create an inspiring work environment.

Unlike some offices where meeting rooms can be dark and dingy, MP makes use of clear glass panels to give their meeting pods that all important sunlight without compromising on privacy. But these guys play as hard as they work, thanks to their games tables which you can access for free when you book! Definitely a must-visit.
