It's a nice, modern looking place and the staff is friendly. However, there have been some recent changes in how the center is run, which are customer unfriendly - to say the least. 1. Enforcement of direct debit Regus Malta wants all its customers to pay via Direct Debit. Since there have been issues with invoices from time to time (incorrect charges being added), this is not preferable. Failure to comply with Direct Debit means that Regus will invoice an additional (on top of the already) month of deposit. What makes this especially misguided, is that all invoices are raised for rents at least 1 month in advance in any case. 2. Raising of rates, without adhering to the contract. The monthly fees are raised above what was agreed upon in the original contract. Then in communication, reference is made to newer contracts and house rules, both of which are: a.) not communicated by mail or e-email b.) not downloadable from the online Regus Customer Portal Imagine your monthly electricity bill being increased with x%, over and beyond what your contract states, without prior notification from the energy company. That is identical to what is happening here. I have tried to resolve this amicably as I have been a happy client for almost 3 years now. Unfortunately I am hitting a wall and only receive threats of account suspension. I have no issue with inflation-related increases, but unilateral contract changes without being informed of such, is not acceptable business practice.
