This review is for the Stones hotel and the Marco Pierre White restaurant over a week of staying. Room was a double with a shower. Very clean. Bed was a bit lumpy but I slept well. Loads of parking with cctv. Staff were really lovely and they worked hard especially Teresa. They were short of staff at times. Restaurant was the star of the show (Marco Pierre White). The best steaks and burgers I have ever had. Chicken pie was a let down, great flavours but five tiny pieces of chicken! All in all not bad.

Attended the function room and bar for a wedding reception. Bar short staffed all night and poor bar staff rushing around like headless chickens. They ran out of ice half way through the evening and most drinks. Ran out of refrigerated tonic and tried to serve room temperature g&t and charge £6. Had to return it. Shocking service!

Prosecco Afternoon Tea, Food was delicious, service was exceptional even with a very large wedding taking place we weren't forgotten about, highly recommend. Will definitely be returning soon. ♥️♥️

We didn't stay at this hotel, we just went for dinner. We found it overpriced and underwhelming. I think they just changed more because it's a Marco Pierre White's restaurant. My chicken was very dry and nothing special. Wouldn't go back.

Lovely hotel. Lots of work being done. Very young staff waiting. WiFi was down which caused staff issues. Will be great if that can all be sorted. Would stay again
