Spaces has a fantastic staff that is always happy to help wherever needed and quick to respond or find a solution. I appreciate the professional working environment. Coworking spaces can be difficult sometimes because it feels that you hear every conversation in the building -- even in so-called private offices. That is not the case at Spaces where the private offices are private and keep conversations private as well.
I also appreciate the great amenities and how clean and well-kept everything is.
It saddens me to score them a 1 as the staff minus their sales team were tremendous. Thank you to the temp gal up front and the other office manager up front. I simply don't understand why when someone signs up for a month to month contract and goes to cancel it you're charging them an additional month. I even explained this to their billing and sales team and even tried removing credit card which their app will not let you remove. Please run from this place. I already tried their ticketing systemx don't hold your breath
Spaces and the staff have been wonderful to work with. We are a tech startup in hyper growth mode and Kelsie and Josh are very supportive, accommodating and always professional. Some of my favorite things about Spaces are the people, the amenities, i.e. gym, fruit infused water, two ice machines, fun and diverse public and private meeting areas, security, reception, covered parking and the environment is very clean. A few sore spots include slow WiFi, their staff don't arrive until 9 am or later to open locked shared spaces, and there's a lot of disruptive construction noise within the building during business hours. But I would highly recommend Spaces to a 1-10 person team. Any larger and it becomes cost-prohibitive.
I joined spaces after coming from another coworking space in the area and I wasn't a fan of how a lot of the people there didn't respect others. They'd talk on the phone really loud next to you, they'd interrupt you if you were in a conference room, and some wouldn't clean up after themselves. Thankfully this isn't the case at spaces.
I've been working out of spaces for almost a year. I've really enjoyed it and plan on staying long term. The staff is helpful and accommodating and the people who work out of spaces are friendly as well.
I regret leaving WeWork for Spaces. Spaces is ok if you just want a more old-school office space (sheetrock, carpet, low energy, etc.). I can imagine attorneys or baby boomers would love it there. I understand Spaces is perhaps changing this, but while I was there - they nickel and dimed me for a cup of coffee, printing a paper, equipment to make the internet work, etc. Their manditory cleaning fee was annoying (actually, their entire billing process was more complicated and annoying than weworks). In the end, Spaces wasn't a good fit for me. I like the modern high energy community feel of WeWork a hundred times better. Maybe just me... The staff in the office are great though.
