Convenient central location, meeting rooms and working areas are reasonably well kitted out. Wi-fi can take a while to connect to, rooms don't have support for large whiteboarding exercises, and the bathroom floor seems to be permanently sticky, which is a bit unpleasant.

No stars - but it's not an option. The billing and admin side of Spaces is absolutely shocking. I cancelled my arrangement in the correct manner, yet they still then took an extra months payment. This took weeks of constant emails and calls to sort out. The communication was shocking and nobody seemed to be able correct the problem or return a call. The reception phone goes through to answer phone 75% of the time. They then took 7 weeks to return my substantial retainer and deducted £100 for basically cleaning the 5m squared room, even after all the trouble. On the surface this office space seems ok. After a while you notice it's a bit superficial and that it is just a lick of paint on an old office building. The cafe area is nice, but the cafe itself is a business and is just about adequate and no cheaper than going for something better elsewhere, if the lifts work. The shared kitchen area is not big enough for the size of the office and often resembles a student halls of residence by mid afternoon. In conclusion, I wish I had never gone with Spaces. It's basically Regis in disguise. There are much better options out there. I thought it was never going to end... If you are a small start-up, their billing department could break you. Always pay on credit card and check your accounts regularly.

While working from this location, I was subjugated to workplace harassment and intimidation by another individual who was working at the same location. His name is Adam Van den Bussche and he works at this Spaces location for the company called Indie Consulting. Adam had an assigned desk and I would sit in the first-come-first-serve booths. I chose to sit at the booth that was across from his desk purely because it was the booth closest to my boss' desk (who also had an assigned desk). I documented two incidents (February 4 and 9, 2021) in which Adam attempted to intimidate me by calling me slurs and using profanity to force me to sit somewhere else. The first incident was witnessed by another worker at Spaces. At no point did Adam, who is at least in his late forties, act like a respectable adult or show the proper courtesy people should show in the workplace. Work harassment and intimidation are completely unacceptable - anywhere. I reported the incident to the Spaces front desk. Bradley and his colleague, I believe her name was Elena, were helpful. But Spaces chose to pursue no action. Even after I spoke with Spaces directly they at no point seemed to take this matter seriously, attempt to mediate in any way, remind Adam that workplace harassment is unacceptable, or offer me an official apology.
