If you need office space that is not inside of your house, spaces is a good option. It has good meeting spaces, and good small office space.

I was very disappointed with Spaces and would honestly never recommend anyone sign up for Spaces unless your company is paying for it. Here are a few reasons why: There are myriad charges on top of your regular (very expensive) monthly rate. The place itself is often very empty and doesn't facilitate the community it promises. I have seen multiple mice running through the working area (even though you are charged nearly $50 for cleaning fees!), and the offices above this space are currently under construction, so you can expect to hear construction sounds throughout the day. To leave Spaces you have to give notice by the first day of the last month you intend to spend there (meaning if you request to end your contract on Oct. 2, you will be paying until Nov. 30) - I was so disappointed to not be explicitly told this prior to my signup. Finally, they charge almost $2 for machine coffee. While this seems insignificant, $2 adds up, and many other coworking spaces include coffee (even snacks!) as a part of your membership. On the plus side, Spaces is literally a large space to work, and does have multiple locations, so if you're ok with the negatives, it might work for you. Pittsburgh is a wonderful city with many local coworking options. I would strongly recommend you invest your time and money in one of those.

Spaces has been an incalculable boon to my work during these pandemic times. I love my home office, but I need to rub shoulders (just an expression) with other people to truly find my focus. The work space is these glass cubicles that are really beautiful (who thought that cubicles could look nice?) The common area is like a giant Starbucks. There are many options to choose from for pricing. Jaime and Eric (the admin staff here) are very attentive and helpful. Goodbye cabin fever, hello Spaces!
