Regus, READING, Forbury Square

I have been using the co-working area and business lounge in Regus Forbury Square for 3 months now, almost on a daily basis. The premises are neat and well maintained and the location is very convenient in central Reading. The staff members at reception, especially Celina, are very kind, professional and always available to help.

In my experience, they didn't share the charges and hidden fees that they charge to customers and seemed like they smartly miss all those facts until you subscribe their service. 1. Please remember that they will charge 35 pound extra activation fee while joining. 2. 2 months deposit 3. 24 pound per sq meter cleaning charges once you leave. 4. Also they charge you 1 month in advance for invoice and payment. 5. Their website is very slow. 6. You automatically(by default) are joined for tea and coffee subscription 25pounds a month even when you ask them not to put you for it. 7. Network coverage is also very pathetic inside. 8. For everything they would charge VAT extra. (note: this was my experience personally. Please check the revised prices about everything before joining. ) On the brighter side: People on reception are helpful Office is beautiful. The kitchen areas are also well maintained.

I've loved working in the Regus co-working space mainly due to the (social environment) people that use the co-working space and the staff who manage it (special thanks to the 3 people working at the reception). It's a great community there. The space itself is a nice modern and clean space that is well equipped to enable me to be productive. I'd be giving 5 stars no doubt if it wasn't for Regus head-office looking to increase the price of the membership (causing me to evaluate my membership) and cramming in an extra desk in the co-working space when there were still many vacant desks. My advice to Regus head office and any company who has a head office operations and "in the field" operations model is to listen to your people on the ground who run the place exceptionally well. You're risking losing a number of loyal customers if you don't.
