The hotel is in a really convenient location. The room was pleasant enough though a little tired and dated. As the hotel is next to the train station, the rail announcements are rather loud preventing you from opening a window during the night. Staff were really friendly and welcoming.

We spent four nights here while seeing all the Liverpool sights. Our room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. We even had daily seagull visits on our window ledge. Breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is centrally located for walking to the museums, etc.

All the times I've stayed in Liverpool. I never knew of this place! I've made a list of my stay in a deluxe double without breakfast included): - Good location - FREE PARKING! (Great find for a city located hotel!) - Mini fridge - Robes and slippers - Coffee machine in room - Mini bottle of milk (not the stupid little cartons!) - Clean rooms - Clean bathrooms - Sweet treat (cookies) - Large queen size bed - Staff at ar park were quite helpful when I couldn't get out as staff on arrival didn't explain how it worked! To note. If you get a room on the Lime Street Station side. It would mean you would hear the trains, whistles and Station announcements! I was lucky that I wasn't staying that side and I was fine with the slight buzz of traffic my side. The rooms don't have air conditioning so windows open can help depending on the temp. There's is a large fan avaliable in the room. Robe and towels are quite rough. You might like that however. The look of the hotel from a distance/outside, is a little disappointing from what it's like on the inside. Never a judge a book, I guess... One of the lifts wasn't working and still wasn't when we checked out 3 days later. On the second day. The second lift was not working! Walked down stairs and found it was initlly being cleaned! Not helpful and from what I heard also wasn't working. Did get fixed eventually! Reception was welcoming when I arrived but like I previously said. It wasn't clearly explained on how the car park worked! You have to tell reception everytime you wish to leave the car park to save you getting charged! My second day when I wanted to check my car out. That particular receptionist was a little curt!! The matress could do with a better matress topper to make it a little less harder. The pillows were great for me personally. Too hard. Overall. I would stay again here as it's not bad overall.
