Really enjoyed our short stay. The staff in particular should be praised. They were welcoming, cheerful and helpful. The hotel is old/historic which gives it character. There are many other anonymous modern hotels and some people like that but would much rather stay in a place with character. Yes the floors might creak alittle and the corridors are a bit like a maze depending on where your room is but we loved that and gives the whole place a warm feel. Rooms were comfortable not huge but quite OK and had large TV if people wanted to relax in their room. Clean and efficiently managed. The BIG plus for us was we had a dog friendly room which sometimes is hard to find. Location in Salisbury is excellent. Definitely recommend and will happily stay again. Feel sorry for people who opt for clinical anonymous hotel chains that have no character, they miss out.

What a charming and unique hotel! Extremely friendly and amazing services since I checked in. I practically live in hotels across the world, and this place really has the best staff. They were so patient and gave me all the info & guidance I need to walk around the charming Salisbury town. The room had so much character. When I was starving at 2am due to jetlag, the staff kindly made me a sandwich to feed me. The location is great and walking distance to all the interesting spots in town. Highly recommend.

A warm welcome to The White Hart, staff were friendly & courteous. Celebrating a 60th birthday, a great function room for a Harry Potter themed mystery evening. Staff were happy to help with decorations, and special mention for Christine who was great to assist with the smooth running of our celebrations. The twin room was spotless and comfortable, our stay was completed with a lovely breakfast the following morning.
